Default Oct 14th: "The Musical"

Alex is floored when she is offered the lead in a high-profile movie musical. But Patrick is torn about telling her the truth when he discovers that her singing voice closely resembles the sound of chalk being dragged across a chalkboard.

Thumbs down

did anyone watch?

They lost me on this epi. I totally missed it.
I think the show needs to make the next epi better cause they will lose in the ratings battle.

Definitely the best show so far. Now that they've gotten past the whole "oooh our dating situation is so weird" thing, the show has taken off.
The show gets better with every episode.
Polo and Sutcliffe are getting funnier (I thought the first two episodes were rough for them) and Seehorn makes me pee in my pants.

I agree, they have gotten past the first stages of their relationship and now are starting to incorporate the teacher friend and sister into the relationship more. i think it will be good for the show.

i started to like the sister a lot more after last night's episode too.

I think it was the best episode so far as well. I agree with what others said about it not being all about how weird the relationship is and it's really coming into its own. The supporting characters aren't annoying anymore, they're becoming funny

great episode

I finally saw it tonight - this one was hilarious! Alex was so funny every time she opened up her mouth to sing! Not enough Stevie here, though - a little Stevie sometimes doesn't go a long way! This is definitely where IWH took off; too bad it's since been permanently grounded.

If they had managed to make more episodes like "The Musical" and "Smarty Party" the show might still be on. Unfortunately, these episodes were, for the most part, the exception rather than the rule.

Hey, even "M*A*S*H" was no big deal in its first year. Some of those first-year episodes (remember the one where Frank pans for gold? ) were among "M*A*S*H"'s weakest. If ABC had renewed "I'm With Her," episodes like "The Musical" would have become the rule pretty quickly.
