Oh, and the film is presented on DVD in widescreen for the first time!

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation: Special Edition is actually a bit skimpy on special features, but no matter. The film is also presented in widescreen for the first time on DVD and includes a commentary track with Beverly D'Angelo (Ellen Griswold), Johnny Galecki (Rusty Griswold), Randy Quaid (Cousin Eddie), and executive producer Matty Simmons.
