Default Joseph Mascolo Contract?

I was wondering, does anyone know, what kind of contract Joseph Mascolo has at The Bold & the Beautiful? He left Days of Our Lives in 2001 and went on to B&B later that year. How long is his contract at B&B?

I ask this because, James Reilly is planning on having the final shock of the serial killer storyline in late 2004, perhaps co-inciding with a Stefano return???

I don't know if the info is still the same, but a while ago, I thought I read somewhere that Joseph Mascolo had a 4 year contract with B&B. Personally, I don't think Mascolo (Stefano) is returning to Days. From what I've heard in the past, Mascolo is very content on B&B. But, I sure wish Mascolo would return to Days. Apparently, Reilly and Mascolo are friends. Since Reilly is back on Days, maybe there's a small chance that Mascolo will return as the character Stefano DiMera, but who knows!!!

I could see him returning ONLY because Reilly is back, and Joe loved playing Stefano under him. I agree about that perhaps being the big kicker in 2004, in my opinion, that would be EXCELLENT!!

Joe is great on B&B I hope he never returns to Days, he's got a great thing going at B&B I would hate for him to wreck that for the stupid serial killer storyline.

I think his contract is for 4 years.

Sorry, but Joe will always be Stefano. It is his defining character, the character he was born to play.

I disagree! IMO you're saying he's a one note actor, like he's not capable of portraying more than one character in his career.

TO me that's saying he's not a good enough actor to portray these characters differently without being "stereotyped" as Stefano.

That's like saying John Stamos can only be Uncle Jesse on Full House, etc..............

I have to agree, Joe will always be Stefano DiMera. Yes, he's had other roles, but none of them are like his role as "Stefano". I've seen him in Days, B&B and Jaws or Jaws 2. But, his most famous role is, was and always will be "Stefano". As far as stereotyping him, he will be stereotyped, his fans will always see Joe Mascolo as "Stefano DiMera". No matter what role he plays, he'll always be "Stefano". I'll admit, at one time I compared Stefano to Massimo, but IMO, he's better at playing Stefano. I mean come on, Joe played Stefano for 19 years.
Yes, he's great at playing Massimo, but nothing compares to him playing Stefano.

But, I'm hoping that Joe Mascolo returns to Days, even if it's just for a couple of days or weeks or months, oh who am I kiddin, I want him back permanently! lol
