Can you believe its been 10 years, a decade has gone by since that huge hit already?? It was such a big & fast success it could've only been a one-hit wonder.

Also, I thought of "Da Dip" by Freak Nasty today! What a funny/catchy one that was too. Remember the video? That little computer-generated guy in the corner cracked me up!

Songs like this come along every so often & it's tunes like these that really make me think that w/ the right equipment & a half-decent sense of rhythm, almost anyone can go to their basement w/ a drum machine & keyboard & self-produce their own one-hit, make a million & retire. What's the latest in this string of overnight hip hop hits? "Right Thurr"?

I heard the song "Whoomp! There It Is" by Tag Team. I have that on cassette and there is a different version by 95 South did that version with new lyrics called "Whoot! There It Is"?

the funny thing is that about 2-3 years after the fact, Tag Team, aware of their one hit wonder status, recorded a followup called "Whoomp! There It Went"
