Just wondering what would have happened if it were possible for us to go back in time, and include some new actors in the cast of LITB.... for starters, I would add "Nellie Oleson" from Little House on the Prairie, to be the perfect female version of Eddie. She could "out-evil" him anytime!

I think Nellie would also make a good replacement for Judy Hensler. Just think of the trouble she could cause in the classroom.

Jay North could be Larry replacement. Larry was a menace too!

Actually, I was thinking of an addition to the cast, not a replacement. But, that is fine, we can go both ways!
With that thought, how about for additions David Gallagher, Justin Berfield, and as a "love interest" for Beaver, Vivien Cardone. |

And maybe the Bradys down the street. And Malcolm's family living across the street! What a neighborhood that would make. |

This could be a new fanfic theme... "The Cleavers meet......." and insert another character, family, gang, etc. from another show into the story, crossing time lines if necessary.

That could bring up some very strange episodes.
Imagine the Beaver living next door to the Jetsons! |

I always wanted to see the Cleavers meet Doc Brown (Back to the Future). After all, BTTF was called 'the ultimated Leave it to Beaver episode by Steven Speilberg).
Doc Brown stashes the time machine somewhere on Pine Avenue, Wally and Beav's kids find it and go back in time by mistake, and the fun begins! They could even go into the future Mayfield and see the next Cleaver generation! I suppose this comes from watching the old and new LITB shows and wondering how the 80s Cleaver kids and the young Beav and Wally would interact. Other cool elements would be comparing the 50s and 80s Mayfield, the Cleaver's neighborhood, school, etc. Very similar to same themes as BTTF, only the 80s Cleavers were never as odd and nerdy as the 80s McFlys. |
