"Munster Go Home" movie - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Can anyone on th elist tell me whether or not the cast and crew actually went to England to film parts of "Munster Go Home" in 1966? I dont know if they just used California locations that resembled England or actually travelled over. If they did go over does anyone know how long they filmed there and where the cast stayed?
Thanks for any help on this question as I love the movie and the whole series.

I think it was all done in California. I think it was something they more or less threw together. Not that I think it's a poor quality movie, but many sub-plots of episodes are thrown in, and it came out so soon after the show went off the air.

Nobody went to England to really make the movie. It was all filmed in and/or near the Universal Studios in Califoria.
