Gauged ears - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Anyone here have gauged ears? Anyone know what they are? Opinions, thoughts?

Mine are a .14.... not very big. I'd like to get them to at least a .10.

how big is that exactly? is it the same gauging system they use for home electrical wiring for example?

what exactly DO you stick in these rather large holes? (and I don't mean that to be vulgar in any way)
