not pleased with season premiere - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

i was not very happy with the season opener for the show. they should'nt have recast the role of vanessa, and they made the opening part completely different from when it ended last season. there is also a lot of things which don't make since. now, junior for some reason won't be going to college supposedly because vanessa is pregnant, but she is going to college?! what is that all about? and the college subject with junior is completely gone. i think the season opener could have been done a whole lot better.

I think this will end up being the last season for the show. How are they going to work a baby into the show? Someone tell me what is the reason for Franklin's character? I didn't watch last Wednesday and I don't think I will watch this Wednesday either.

psft. the season premiere wasn't even half as bad as that Hair episode! I think that was the worst episode of any sitcoms I've ever seen in my life

I think the Hair episode is some kind inside joke. The first episode of the Wayans Brothers was about the same subject that use the same product name 'hair it is'!

I think the writers have attention deficient syndrome. In the last episode where Jr. goes to work. He bosses his father's employees around, out thinks them and shows a great amout of cleverness until his father gets in the room then he is has stupid as a loon! What's up with that???!!! How can you be incredibly smart one minute then stupid the next!!?? It would be better if Jr. acted stupid as a part of his sense of humor pretty much like Lionel Jefferson bull jived Archie Bunker!

And didn't they do that part where Claire meets a guy over the internet and Michael finds out before with the first Claire in the first season or what that another t.v show??

Now I remember it was the Hughleys where the daughter found a boyfriend over the internet and Darryl found out about it. I guess that's just as bad stealing plot lines from other shows!

IMO.... this show jumped when Vanessa got pregnant.
Not that Im saying teen pregnancy means you'll go to hell or anything like that.
I just haven't found this show all that funny this season.

Last season was the best.

There has been some funny ones here and there. Like the one with the mouse in the house and Junior moving into his own place and Tony getting drunk!
