Default grrrr!

ok, now I'm really hating this 3:30 AM timeslot even more.
I missed ANOTHER episode that I've never seen before. I didn't realize that "It's so nice to have a mather around the house" was the episode that was going to be on last night, so I didn't set up a tape, so i missed yet another episode which I've never seen and don't have on tape.

Too bad you don't get it at 6:30am like I do (Nick2 on digital cable! Woo-hoo! West Coast Feed on the East Coast).
I get it at 3:30am East feed, too.
I didn't watch this morning because I stayed up 'till twelve watching that Eddie Izzard guy on HBO (crossdressing Brit stand-up comedian with nice vinyl pants on).
I have "It's Nice to Have a Mather Around the House" on tape.
If I could, I would upload it into a .rm file and send it to you, it's a cute episode

Here's a suggestion....Why don't you do what I've done? Namely, set up your VCR to record "Wings" EVERY night/morning at 3:30 am.

Of course, I'm taping every episode to eventually (and hopefully) have the ENTIRE series on video...but if you don't want to do that, then at least you can check the recorded tape the next day....

If it's an episode that you don't want to watch again, then you can just record over that episode the next night...but if it IS one that you've wanted to see, then you have it on tape to enjoy.

Yeah Ange. That's a good thing about digital cable. When we used to have that in my house I'd watch the east coast feed on the west coast, so I'd get to watch Wings at 11pm. Now that's a decent time for it to be on.
Krista, don't feel too bad, you weren't the only one who missed the show last night. I was spending time with my friends, and didn't get around to taping it. But I guess real life should come first anyway.

Default "It's So Nice To Have A Mather Around The House"

Yet ANOTHER episode that I just saw for the first time! (Boy, I really missed some GOODIES the first time around!).

This episode was very funny and quite imaginative.....the idea of having Lowell be a "Felix Unger" type of housekeeper (but not as annoying) was really a different twist!

If "Wings" had done that with ANY other character, it just wouldn't have been so funny...after all, we all know how Antonio appreciates the finer things in life, and Roy has a touch of the gourmet chef in him....but to have LOWELL setting attractive tables (complete with freshly-cut flowers!) and whipping up fancy meals really takes you by surprise!

That Lowell just never ceases to amaze me!

What's odd is that Thomas Haden Church carried it over into Ned Dorsey.
Ned was an excellent chef and he could make anything, it seemed.
Unfortunately, Stacey wasn't so lucky in the culinary department.
Anyway, the episode is one of my favorites.
I like when Lowell cries and cries about his houseboat.
"HE SUNK MY BOAAAAAAT!..."

yeah, I probably could have gotten it at 6:30 AM too, but I didn't realize what episode was on until later. hehe
