1st timer on this board, I've trolled here before though. A couple days ago, on UM they showed the one with the Jeremy Bright case. This one has bugged me with the way it starts out with the kid who played Jeremy on the roller coaster ride and the spooky music they play at the beginning of the show. His disappearance and something about his picture is kinda freaky. There were 3 different scenarios in which they believed could've happened. He was at the Coos County Fair sometime in 1986, I believe, and at first the authorities thought he was runaway. The first scenario they brought up was he was given something to drink that was laced with poison. Scenaro#2 was some local youths accidentally shot him with a gun when he was in a lake and then they tried to restore his health on their own in this little cabin up in a wooded area but failed and buried him. This information was given by a guy in jail. They dug the area, and found nothing. The last one showed a girl and a guy who was walking down stairs to leave her apartment I think it was, and they saw a guy stumble in and they asked what happened to him. I forgot what he said but he had blood all over his clothes. So, what happened to Jeremy? Any thoughts?

If I remember correctly, when I saw this segment I became pretty convinced that Jeremy was killed by some mishap with other kids involved, however, the fact that all these years later NO ONE has piped up to reveal anything is odd too. Its hard enought for one criminal to keep his mouth shut eneviatably, let alone a big group of kids. I think the shooting scenerio in the water is very possible, esp. since they were in a rural area.

I remember that segment. It freaked me out too. I don't think he ran away because from what his mom said they appeared to have a good relationship. I believe that he was probably shot by accident and the other kids tried to cover it up. That story seems to make the most sense to me especially when those two people saw that guy covered with blood. It does seem funny that the case was never solved and a body was never found because when a bunch of people, especially kids, get together and try to cover something up someone is bound to let something slip eventually.
A while back someone posted on here that they were at that same fair the same week that Jeremy went missing. Don't remember who it was though. |

That case is a haunting one. I remember when it aired on UM back in 1989, when I was only a novice fan of the show.
There are links to his profile. Here's one of them: http://doenetwork.bravepages.com/38dmor.html If you'd like to find more Jeremy Bright links, go to Google.com, and type in his name. For better results, type in his full name (Jeremy Doland Bright). Sadly, the more time passes, the less likely it seems that he's still alive. I would hope that we will one day find out the truth about his disappearance, even if the answer is less-than favorable.

Hey Mijada, that was me. I was at the Coos County fair the day before Jeremy was (supposed to be) there (I was six years old at the time...I remember the concert given by Tammy Wynette). I've lived in Oregon most of my life.
As reported, nothing has ever been found. But I've always been disturbed by a few startling facts. Jeremy was only 14; if he had been out to a party after the fair, what was he doing there out so late? Sorry if this seems odd, but a 14 year old is too young to be out alone like that. It would really be great if his family could get some closure.
