Hi all Lucy fans! Yes, I really am Stevie Appleby(from the Superman Episode). I just found this web site and really enjoy reading all the comments about the show. I'll be in and out but when I'm in I will happily answer any questions about my memories of being on the set of the show...........

OK-first of all for "SPLAIN": "I wanna see Superman! I wanna see Superman!" Howz that? Yes it really IS me. For years I have been reluctant to come forward but now that there so few of us left who were involved with the show I thought it was time. For "DAWSONGIRL": Thanks for the welcome & for "LUCYLOVER22": your question will take time to answer. Unfortunately I'm an extremely busy man but I will answer your question very soon--please be patient. In a nutshell it was coller than you could imagine and the memories are irreplaceable. I consider myself very fortunate to have had that opportunity. When I have more time I will come back and tell you more............

Yep, that's Stevie all right, welcome to the site and come and see us on the other sites too, like Lucy Talk and The Lucy Lounge and The I Love Lucille Ball Forum and Babalu's Lucy site and . . . the one question i have for you, was when did you start working as a child actor, did you fall into that trap that so many of them went through, how was Lucy to work with, was she a terror on the set as some would have us believe, how was Desi, did you play and study on the set, did you keep working in the business and what do you do now, you see, only one question!

Sorry, don't want to bombade you with questions..but wow, you are so lucky having the chance to work with those four famous actors and play on a very famous and wondeful show?

Oh my God! I didn't realize I was opening such a can of worms. I'm not ready to write my biography but I will share the memories of that five year old kid (me) in bits and pieces. There are a few memories of Doris that really stand out.
I know that she was a patient person because it took a lot of coaxing to get me to deliver my lines in a somewhat coherent manner. I wasn't used to the bright lights and if you look closely you will notice that I am looking off stage for direction (maybe towards my mother?). Doris seemed to have a problem with one of her lines (when on the phone with Lucy). The writers didn't give her time to take a breath during a run-on sentence. She thought it was very awkward and I still cringe every time I see it. From here on I will pick memories of each actor-one per post until I run out. Does that make sense? Bye for now......

I find this to be VERY ironic because I watched the Superman episode like a couple of nights ago.
