I've just watched this episode for the first time, and it's another true CLASSIC!
It's also a great "ensemble" episode...I LOVE those shows where the "Wings" gang gets together socially (ballgames, Trivial Pursuit nights, holiday house parties, days at the beach, etc.)....it shows that they had friendly (even "family") feelings for each other ouside of the workplace, and it adds a nice touch to the series. Last night's episode was also one of those shows that featured great tension between Joe and Fay. In some episodes, Joe and Fay have almost an "Elderly Mother-Grown Son" relationship, and Fay really knows how to lay the guilt trips on "Sonny Boy" with her snide remarks and constant "digging".....and it eventually drives Joe to the point where he blows up and LOSES it! (Just like how many elderly mothers drive their grown sons crazy with THEIR guilt trips!). I loved Joe's line when Fay wanted a souvenier: "Antonio, give Fay the finger!". Yes, another EXCELLENT episode....Too bad that it was being shown at 3:30 AM EST! (See? I'm pretty good at snide "guilt trip" comments MYSELF!). |

Lowell: Mooooo!
Everyone looks at Lowell. Lowell: What? I thought we had a barnyard thing going on! Roy:Ohhh...phht *THUMP* That was a pretty good episode, definately one of the funnier ones where they actually attempted to have fun. Some episodes seem really forced. |

This is definitely one of my top five favorite episodes!
The dialogue, chemistry, and timing were all perfect. Seeing Roy get his comeuppance was great. I loved when Lowell asked if Mr. Coffeee was related to Mr. T and Roy responded with "I wonder if your mother was related to your father." Also, when Joe said "Antonio, give Fay the finger!" was funny too. Antonio gave it to her without an argument that it was his. He's so obedient. This episode sure is classic television. |

the first time i saw this episode way back when, that cracked me up. Antonio: "I wonder if Ice T is related to Mister T." Lowell: "I wonder if Mister T is related to Mister Coffee." Roy: "I wonder if your mother is related to your father."
