Do you Really Want Me???

Hello everyone!!! I'm usually busy EVERY night writing till all hours of the night with Cat, but she's not feeling too well tonight, so I'm here by myself! I'd written some of this awhile ago, so I decided to finish it and post b/c I'm bored! It's just a one time post, but STILL TELL ME WHAT YA THOUGHT!!! and feel better cat!!!

“So, 7:30 then?” CD DeLorenzo asked her partner, Nate Basso.
“Yeah, I think I can make it by then. Do ya want me to bring anything?”
CD smiled and walked over to him, getting as close to him as possible w/o
looking too suspicious. “Um, a change of clothes might be appropriate.”
Nate blushed and looked at her. “Are you being serious?”
They had never been intimate before. The two of them had been going out secretly
for four months, but she wouldn’t let him touch her. She’d come clean about her past,
about Ricky, and Nate understood. He loved his CD more than anything, so sex could
wait. He was obviously surprised when she just came out and said that. “I mean, CD, are
you sure?”
CD nodded. “I don’t know if I’m ready or not, tonight, but maybe I will be.” She
slid a finger over his hand lightly, just to get his heart to melt. “So bring a toothbrush just
in case.”
He smiled at her. “Alright then. See ya at 7:30.” He picked up his coat and went
out the Division’s entry doors. CD went back to her desk to work on a couple more files
before she left, too.
Kate McCafferty walked out of her office, coat in hand ready to go. “Candace
DeLorenzo, your butt is going to be cemented to that chair if you don’t leave NOW.
You’ve put in too much time the way it is. Go home. Go see a movie. Get someone and
have dinner with.”
“Actually, Nate and I are having dinner later on tonight.” She looked at her watch,
5:05. “I should probably be heading out anyway.”
“Where are you two going tonight?”
“Um, I’m cooking for him at my place tonight.” CD blushed and looked away,
hoping her perceptive Cap would notice nothing.
“Oh, really?” Kate smiled her devil smile. “You, cook for a man? Anything you
need to tell me about, Inspector??”
CD turned four colors of red. “No, of course not, cap.” She tried to laugh it off.
“You know Nate, too lazy to cook his own meals, so I was bored and told him to come
over. No big deal.”
Kate shook her head. “Well, alright, CD, I believe you. But thousands wouldn’t.”
She turned to leave. “Hey, CD, come here.”
CD walked over to her. Kate turned to her, softly whispering into her ear. “Ya
know, if you ever need to talk about anything or anyone, I’m always here for you. As
Kate, not Captain, okay?”
CD looked into her eyes. “Yeah, I know, Kate, but if I ever talked to you, Captain
would have to step in.”
Kate shook her head. “Nope, CD, that’s not how it works. You talk to me on a
lunch break or after hours, I’m Kate. The woman who’s been around Candace DeLorenzo
for the past 15 years. You tell me anything and it’s confidential.” Kate grabbed CD’s
hand. “Look, I know you and Nate have been seeing each other a little more socially than
just friends. I can see it in your eyes. I also know that now that I’ve said that, you can
open up to me, if you need to.”
CD couldn’t believe what Kate was saying. “Kate, are you saying that you won’t
be mad at us?”
“CD, I’m saying that as Kate, I’m the happiest woman alive. As your captain, I
don’t know what to say. That’s why you didn’t talk to her. You’re talking to me.” She
looked at CD, who was really confused. “I mean, when you two are on duty, we don’t talk
about it. I’m in the dark about all of it. That means the romance stays to a minimum, and
your solving cases goes to a maximum as long as you’re clocked in.”
“But it’s okay?” CD couldn’t believe what she was hearing.
“CD, I’ve never seen you happier. This is what you deserve. I know Nate loves
you, and it looks like you love him, right?”
CD nodded. “Yes, I think so.” She looked down at her feet. “I’ve thought that
about other people, though, too. And that didn’t work out.”
Kate looked up and saw Raina closing in. “Uh, CD, let’s walk out to the parking
lot and continue talking about this case, ok?”
CD, puzzled, looked around and saw Raina. “Oh, alright, Cap, that’s a good idea.”
They walked out to the lot and Kate asked CD to sit in her car. “CD, it hasn’t
worked out before because he wasn’t the right man. Your marriage wasn’t the right
marriage. You deserve so much more than what you’ve been given in your life. You
deserve this thing with Nate.” Kate smiled over at CD. “So, how long have you two been
together?”
CD smiled, knowing that question was coming. “About four months.” She looked
away, out the window. “But I think tonight’s the night.”
“You mean you two haven’t.....”
CD shook her head. “I’ve been too afraid, Kate.”
“Why, CD?”
“If we do this, our relationship will somehow fall apart, I’ll lose him in my
personal life, but I’ll also lose him as my partner.”
Kate knew what she was talking about. “CD, in the past, your relationships have
failed. In my opinion, you’ve just chosen *******s to sleep with, and then they hurt you.
It’s them, CD, not you. Nate is an EXCELLENT guy. You’re a terrific woman. This
WILL work out. If it doesn’t intimately, then it will careerwise. Nate would never give
you up as his partner without a fight. He loves you, CD. You two are going to make this
work.”
CD had a tear in her eye. “Thank you, Cap. I really needed to hear that. Nate’s told
me the same thing over and over, but I just thought he was saying it because he wanted
sex.”
Kate laughed. “Does that sound like something Nate Basso would tell HIS CD?!”
CD laughed with her captain and shook her head. “No, it doesn’t, I’m just
paranoid. That’s all.”
“Well, ya got that right! Jeez, CD, Nate would walk through fire for you! Just so
you didn’t feel pain!” She looked into CD’s bright blue eyes. “Go with him, CD. Have
dinner tonight. If it feels right, go for it. If it doesn’t, then Nate’s not the right guy for you.
It will be an obvious choice. Trust me on this one.”
CD nodded. “Alright, thank you so much, Cap.”
Kate grinned. “I’m Kate right now.”
CD laughed. “Oh, yeah, I forget, Miss Muliple Personalities! Thank you, Kate.”
CD opened the door to get out, but first hugged her captain. “And Kate?” CD asked as
she stepped out of the car.
“Yes, CD?”
“Thanks for always being there for me.” She shuts the door.
Kate smiled to herself. “You’re welcome, honey,” she whispered to herself. “You
are so VERY welcome.”

Nate pulled up to CD’s apartment promptly at 7:30. He’d been ready since around
6, so he’d just been driving around, waiting for the time to come. He was really nervous.
He didn’t want to hurt her tonight, and he didn’t want to get hurt by convincing himself
that tonight was the night. He walked up to her door with a dozen pink roses and
knocked.
CD still had an apron on when she opened the door for him.
“Julia Child!” Nate exclaimed. “I didn’t know you were cooking for us tonight!”
CD groaned. “Gosh, Nate, am I really that ugly?”
Nate laughed as he kissed her on the cheek. “No, no, you’re the most beautiful
woman in the world!! What I meant was it smells like Julia Child’s been here! That’s
all.”
CD took the flowers into her arms. “Well, okay, if that’s what you meant.” She
grinned. “Thank you for these beautiful roses. You didn’t have to.”
“You’re very welcome. I just saw them in a flower shop’s window, and they
reminded me of you in that pink shirt you were wearing the first time you kissed me. I
just couldn’t resist.”
“They’re gorgeous,” CD replied as she sat them in a vase with water. “Come on
in, the lasagna just got out of the oven.”
“Yum, sounds great, baby.”
The two of them went into the kitchen and sat down. CD passed around the
lasagna, the salad and some freshly squeezed lemonade. They quietly ate, both in their
own thought processes wondering what was to happen later.
They finished their meal, and the two of them did the dishes together, laughing
and relaxing a little when Nate blew soap bubbles onto CD’s nose. She took a handful
and placed them in his hair. They finally finished the dishes, though, and went into the
living room and had a seat on the couch.
They sat in silence for a good ten minutes, “watching” TV. Finally, CD turned to
Nate. “Well, I, uh, bet you’re wondering about tonight, huh?”
Nate looked at her and glided her hand into his. “Yes, a little, but I just want you
to know that if you have ANY doubt, then please, let’s not do this tonight. I can wait, CD.
I want you to be 100% comfortable with me before you submit. I love you with all of my
heart, and that can give me the will power not to have sex with you until you’re
completely ready.
CD grinned a little, knowing Kate had been right. “Nate, I love you, too. Yes, I’ve
had struggle and pain in my life, but for the most part, it’s gone now. I have you. That’s
all I need. YOU are all I need. I’ve kept you waiting for long enough.” Her face crept up
next to his and she planted a big kiss right on his lips. “Promise me, something, alright?”
Nate looked at her. “Anything.”
“Please, if for whatever reason, you ever want out, then get out. Don’t try and
spare my feelings. If you want to date someone else, then please just tell me, and don’t go
behind my back. If I ever find out that you’ve cheated on me, I will hunt you down and
strangle ya, got it?”
Nate nodded affectionately. He understood why she was giving him these
stipulations.
“And two.” She snuggled up close to him. “Can we go a little slow tonight?”
He grinned and put his arms around her. “Sure, we can.”
She kissed him hard on the mouth. “Okay,.” She stood up and held out her hand
for him to join her. “Let’s do this then.” She led him into her bedroom and let him lie her
on the bed. He slowly climbed on top of her, planting sweet little kisses down her neck.
She responded by dragging him a little closer, kissing him all over. He slowed the kiss,
taking special time to unbutton her blouse and slip it carefully off of her. He unbuckled
her pants and took them off, while CD worked on his clothes, stripping him down to his
boxers.
She was in her dark purple bra and panties as Nate slowly stroked her body. His
hands moved all over body, exploring the prettiest piece of land he’d ever seen. “Oh,
please,” he whispered.
“What?” CD asked alarmingly.
“Oh, nothing, I didn’t know that you were even more gorgeous than what I
thought.”
She blushed at that comment and decided to surprise him by quickening the pace.
She threw his boxers off in a hurry, and she slowly moved her mouth south, making a
stream of kisses on her way down. She made her way to his inner thigh, where she paused
to make out with his leg for a little bit. Her tongue came out and she slowly tickled him with
it. Then she started sucking a little closer to his piece, arousing him the most he’d ever
been. As she was slightly biting him, Nate reached his arms around her breasts, trying to
unsnap that bra of hers. It was on tight, and it took him 3 tries to get it off. His lips went
straight there, while his hands flew downwards. He stroked her through her panties,
letting her know that he wanted in. She moved her mouth back up to his as he stuck his
hands in, caressing her ass as he swiftly pulled off her thong.
She moaned at his touch, arching her back, desperately wanting him. “Nate, I
changed my mind. No slowness. I want you NOW!” She exclaimed as she opened, ready
for him to enter.
He did, quickly but somehow, painlessly. She yelled out his name they began to
move in sync. She couldn’t believe how well they were doing this. She figured the first
time wouldn’t go right because they’d be nervous, but all nerves were shoved aside. She
couldn’t think about anything except how this gorgeous man that she loved was making
love to her. And so well.
Nate stroked the outside of her breasts after a long time of love making. Finally,
they exhaustedly stopped and flopped themselves flatly on the bed. “Ooooo,” was all CD
could get out.
“Mmmhmm,” Nate replied back.
“Nate, do you realize how amazing that was? I mean, I figured you were excellent
in bed, but I NEVER would’ve guessed THIS good!”
Nate laughed. “Well, there’s lots you need to get to know about me.” He moved
closer to her, drawing her next to him. “There’s lots of things I need to show you.”
CD giggled. “I can’t wait to see it then,” she said as she yawned. “But you’ve already worn me out!”
Nate laughed. “Okay, I guess I can’t be greedy. We can go to sleep now.”
CD smiled. “Thank you.”
Nate looked deep into her eyes. “No, thank YOU.”
CD was puzzled. “For what, honey?”
“For trusting me to do this with you.”
CD smiled. “Anytime, Mr. Basso. And when I say anytime, I DEFINITELY mean
ANYTIME.”
“Anytime, huh? But you just said you were tired!”
CD grinned Nate’s grin. “No, I said you wear me out. I’m not tired enough to say
no to you. Not yet, anyway! Let’s let this relationship progress further, THEN I will turn
you down the ‘I’m too tired’ speech.”
Nate laughed. “Okay, then!”
They made love again, slowly and passionately. After they were done, CD rolled
over to the side, Nate almost asleep. “Nate, you’re not wearing down on me, are you?”
she teased.
Nate kind of groaned, he was so exhausted. “No, no I’’m just fine. I was just
resting my eyes.”
“Sure you were,” CD smiled. “Come here, let’s go to sleep” She opened her arms
for him to climb in. He snuggled up next to her, putting his arms on the outside, so he
could cuddle with her.
“I’m not going to want to get up in the morning, CD.” Nate replied.
“Me neither. That’s why I called the cap right before you got here and told her we
weren’t coming in tomorrow.”
Nate looked at her, confused. “What? How did you know we were going to be too
tired for work? Did you tell her why?”
CD grinned as she rested her head inside his shoulder crevice. “I told her that for
some reason, I had a good feeling about tonight.”
“And she knew what you meant and okayed it?”
CD nodded. “Yeah,” she replied. “She knew.”

awww wow.... I think I came online just when you went off though Sleeping helped, I feel a lot better, woke up way early even though I was exhausted though lol. But after reading this I'm glad I felt sickish!!!! This is sooooo cute and amazing and cap's multiple personalyties lol, that was so what I was thinking when I read the "I'm Kate not cap" thing lol
and Nate is such a sweetheart!!!!! Okay before I babble without end here... to sum it up... the verdict is: GUILTY!!!!!!!!! And I sentence you to writing 2 pages of fic a day!!!!!!

More, more, more, more, more!!! Is all I can say!!! That was awesome! Keep up the good work. The funny thing is, in a way I'm glad it was a short fan fic. because I got to read it all without being so busy that I'd have to get back to it but never did. BUT I also wish it was longer, so there'd be more CD/Nate fan fic to read, but that wouldn't work cuz I got like NO time in my life whatsoever, so I guess it worked out good the way ya wrote it. Hehehehe Not that ya understood any of that! lol So write more, WHO CARES what I have for time. lol I'll stop working, get fired, lose all my money, have no place to live, just so I can read your fan fic.....until the computer gets re-poed! lol
