Really, now...I think you folks are over-reacting a bit, don't you think? I mean, as long as they capture the spirit of Catwoman, the costume is secondary (witness, if you will, the fact that Michelle Pfieffer's catsuit was way different from the ones that Julie Newmar, Lee Merriweather and Eartha Kitt wore...or the ones that were featured in the recent animated Batman series...and all of those are different from the suit she wears in the comic books now {an' if'n y'all REALLY wanna nitpick, remember, the ORIGINAL Catwoman wore an extremely long, tight DRESS!!})

So, in other words...get a grip, already!! At least wait until they actually make the flick before you trash it!! You owe yourselves THAT much patience!

Yeesh!

The deal is I liked the other catsuits. Michelle's looked great. Julie, Lee, Eartha's looked fantastic. Not sure about the original outfit because I've never saw it. But Idk, I can't help how I feel about the costume. It looks like something an erotic dominatrix would wear or something.

And remember this topic was about the costume. Chris didn't exactly come in here and say 'Damn, I bet this Catwoman movie is gonna blow serious chunks'. Now if he had said that, we would be seriously dissing the movie. And with TJL's comment about 'Why do I have the feeling this film is going to be a biiiiiig mistake?', he's more than likely right. He's read the info I've posted about the movie so far, so he's got the right to express his feelings about it.

This movie is a total luck of draw thing. They're either gonna pull out a good movie or they're gonna pull out a bomb. Now if they pull out the ball that has 'This movie makes the Hulk look like movie of the year.' That's when we're in trouble. It just all goes together you know, the costume it's just like the CGI Hulk. It just has to look good or people will diss it. When I saw the CGI Hulk for the first time, I almost fell over backwards. I thought the Jolly Green Giant from the canned vegetables had came to life. And people were sharing the same opinion with me. People said it looked like the Jolly Green Giant, some people said it looked like that thing from Shrek. So the Hulk in the Hulk movie has to look extra good. It's a big part of the flick. I'm getting way off topic, so let me get back to Catwoman. Now the costume isn't CGI or a person or a plotline, but imo, I think to some people the costume counts just as big as everything else. Hell, people might share the same opinion with me this time. The people might think, whoa, am I going to see a Catwoman movie or is this a cleverly titled porno flick? The costume does look like it. Eh, if it's a porno, that costume ain't gonna stay on anyway.

Okay, I hope I'm making some sense. Sorry I got off topic. If we still all disagree, lets just agree to disagree. That's the best way to do it.
