This is funny. Even when they're in other shows, that other show they'd be in would have a reference to something that was referenced on HOTC...or is something HOTC related.

In that movie I just watched with Robin Givens in it, "Foreign Student," a girl in it is reading "Absalom! Absalom!" by William Faulkner. (That was an answer Simone gave at the academic meet against the Russian students in "Mission to Moscow, Part 2.")

On the episode of "Growing Pains" that Joher was in, Mike is subbing for a teacher named Mr. Hesseman. (We all know that Howard Hesseman played Charlie Moore on HOTC.)

And on the one Khrystyne was on, she played the teenaged Chrissy, and although she was wild and bad, she got straight-As. (It's not related to HOTC per se, but the IHP were good students!)

Actually I suspect that these:

... were done on purpose. Growing pains aired the same time as HOTC, and in fact Haje was still on HOTC when that GP ep with her aired (hence why she is billed as "special appearence" in the credits, I theorize). Likewise Joher's after tenure stint.

It's more than coincidence, but yes it's still cute.

I don't know if this is what you meant, but Joher was listed as a "regular guest star" in the credits. He didn't get the "Special Guest Appearance" title like Khrystyne did.
