Did anyone else think that the person who played Ann's husband was entirely too old for her.

Hey Glenny:
If you mean her first husband Ed I would say definitely too old for her. The actor was Joe Campanella who must have been in his 40s at the time. Bonnie Franklin was a young woman (I read she was only 31 when it started). Was there something in the script about her marrying a much older man? He was too old to be her husband, but too young to be her father. |

I think the scripts implied they met in high school. Now either Ed was really dumb (and kept being held back) or he was one of her teachers - I seriously doubt they were both students at the same time!
