I loved each one...because they are all so funny...but 2 of my favorites were the one where Chico and Louie try to keep Ed out of trouble for not sending in his taxes so they sign it and send it in for him...too funny. Great lines between Chico and Louie...and I loved the one when Chico's dad came back. Just proved that Freddie could be funny yet he had potential as a dramatic actor as well.....some scenes were very touching.

I too loved all the episodes that Freddie was in. One of my favorites was the program with Rose Marie from the Dick Van Dyke show. I thought Freddie looked particularly handsome in that show wearing his grey suit. I thought it was so funny when he and Louie were trying to locate Ed on the CB radio. When Ed told Chico not to mention any names, Chico responded with "this is angry matador" and then referred to Louie as "trashy can". I laughed so hard then but I guess that is the whole point of his talent - to make people laugh - and that he did!!!!

Another show that comes to mind..was the one with the bathtub...Chico wanted to install it in the garage. When he came out at the begging of the episode...I nearly had a heart attack. He was lean and mean...his hair was gorgeous and he looked better than ever. I think it was a new season...and OMG...I nearly died. He had grown from adorable young BOY to an incredibily handsome young MAN. I loved it!!!

I thought they should have tried harder to find a bigger tub because anyone looking at that long and lean frame could tell there's no way he would fit in that tub!
But then who cares! More to see! did I say that?! |

This is a very hard decision...
One of the first thoughts were for the taxes one.... I really liked that one because it showed the interaction between Louie and Chico... I also like the strike episode, the one where he gave Ed the tequila sunrises and Ed unknowingly signed the contract for life, the one where he is going to move away with his cousin, the first episode with Liz, the hospital stay, the one where Chico preaches, any of them where Chico does the Igor impression, the mural one, heck, there are too many too pick a favorite.... cause there are more I like too..... My only complaint was there weren't more.....

I love any of the episodes in which Freddie's "hidden" talents were brought to light: the one with Marilyn, for showing us what a marvelous kisser he was (hee hee!)--not to mention how obvious it made his real-life sensitive nature; the first one with Aunt Connie, in which Chico and Ed danced together (and the second one, for all the impressions Freddie got to do); the one in which Ed was supposedly dead and Chico was doing the mambo as he opened the overhead door of the garage; the one with the silent film actress, in which Freddie did Igor most extensively and spoke Italian at the end (and any episode in which he broke into Spanish, of course!); the preaching one, for highlighting a whole chunk of his stand-up act; and regarding his singing ability, the "contract for life" one cuz he sang that 50's type song, and the one in which he played a country-style song about himself and Ed on the guitar at the end of the episode (and any other one in which he played the guitar--even the one with Sammy Davis Jr. in which his performance was supposed to be awful LOL!).
My favorites on general principles concerning both Freddie's looks and his acting would have to be the one with cousin Carlos and the bathtub episode. |

All of Freddie's episodes are wonderful. I especially enjoy "Reverend Bemis's Altar Ego" I remember when it first aired and recording it with my trusty cassette tape machine to keep as a momento. I loved Freddie's style of preaching adding his own style of comedy to it! In fact any way he would preach I would love it. Coming from Freddie's heart in his own unique way!

Not to mention how hot he looked in that black rhinestone suit...OMG. He was so funny during that...really gave us a glimpse into his stand up act.

My favorites... (they tend to change on a regular basis)
"Too Many Crooks" Chico pretends to be the stocking bandit and has everyone "put your valuables on the table!"....the prostitute lady simply sits on the table because she is empty-handed! (that part of the show briefly reminds me of "I Love Lucy" with Chico's accent and the lady's bright red hair) also the way he adopts the "ghetto" talk to communicate to Bubba!"The Hypnotist" This was one of Freddies most energetic performances; I loved the way he was dribbling the basketball at the beginning; the way he teased Ed about being so gorgeous, the way he laughed at Ed's fat-lady jokes.... |
