Default Brian Hooks Is The Star Of This Show

Brian Hooks is the black guy on the left in the picture up above. Without him, this show would be lame. He is so funny. He cracks me up all the time. Last night DMX tried to give him a tattoo. Brian asked him is it gonna hurt & DMX said yes. DMX tried to give him one & Brian was falling out the chair LOL. DMX said stop acting like a b***h & get out of here. I didn't know u could curse on regular tv like that. Ali Landry who is the white woman on the show that is Eve's friend or whatever race she is, is fine as hell. I like her voice. That white dude with the english accent gotta go cause he doesn't fit in on the show.

Yeah, he was very funny last night. The only time I laughed was when he was in the scenes.

Have u seen Brian in the movies 3 Strikes, High School High, Phat Beach? I saw him in 3 Strikes & High School High. He also does a lot of straight to video low budget movies. He has a movie out right now on video called Malibooty with Mari Morrow, Kent Masters King, rappers Sticky Fingaz & E-40. I'm gonna have to check that out cause i like Mari Morrow & Kent Masters King. They are hot. Kent played in The Wash movie as Dr Dre's love interest. I can't believe her name is Kent Masters King. What kinda name is that for a woman? Her parents must've been on crack when they named her hahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Brian Hooks character is more interesting than Jason George or Eve. If this show tanks, he could probably be the lead in his own show. From what little I have seen of this show, the supporting characters really outshine the leads. This is one of the strangest things I have seen in a sitcom. Ali Landry is much more attractive and funnier than Eve, Brian Hooks is much funnier than Jason George and Natalie and the british fellow are more appealing than the leads. I dare say they could get rid of Eve and Jason and the show wouldn't suffer too terribly. And its not so much a lack of acting ability on her part. She just doesn't have the presence to carry a show. She works better in small doses like in the Barbershop films.

One of the very few other episodes i saw was the xmas episode with Kelly Rowland and Daphne Maxwell Reid. There is a long scene with the two of them trying to outsong each other at the xmas party and eve is nowhere in sight. I found it strange that she wouldn't be around even though she is the star of the show.

If Brian & Ali wasn't on Eve's show, i wouldn't even watch it. As many low budget black movies that Brian does, he doesn't need to be on Eve's show cause he's making a lot of money from doing straight to video movies hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. I betcha nobody has seen his low budget films besides me. Everytime i go to Blockbuster Video, i see a lot of films with him on the shelf that nobody is renting LOL. He did a movie called Malibooty 2 yrs ago but it came to video last yr & it never came to theatres. Only reason i rented the movie was because Mari Morrow, Kent Masters King, rapper Sticky Fingaz was in it. I love me some Mari Morrow. She is a hottie.

On the episode I saw of Eve, Brian said to Ali and the british fellow at the nightclub, "I have to get back to work, my boss thinks I'm in the bathroom". That line cracks me up. In the show it seems like they want to make he and Ali a couple. They would be better as the leads and kick Eve and JT out the door. JT's teeth are blindingly big and white. He reminds me of a mole or a woodchuck.

A comedy with an interracial couple as the leads would certainly be different.

Did u read my topic i posted about Ali wants to be Brian's woman? I saw Monday's episode & i could tell she was jealous when she saw Brian talkin to that UPS delivery woman. I would like to see Ali & Brian as a couple too. Ali is so gorgeous & her body is so hot. Did u see the part where Ali tried to come on to that UPS delivery woman to see if she was gay? That outfit Ali had on was so hot. She has very nice legs. LOL@JT got big teeth. I never noticed that. Did u see him in the first Barbershop movie as Eve's man? Did u see how he had his hair? LOL. Remember when the african dude beat his ass cause he tried to fight Eve? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Ali definitely has charisma and she is very sexy which makes it all the more weird that they would stick her in this opposite Eve who is not unappealing, but plain looking in comparison. It's almost like her agent told her to do this show to get exposure and then when it goes down the drain she'll be more well known to headline something else. Same thing with Hooks.

As for JT he's been cast in a bunch of duds. He and the English dude were in a WB show a couple of years ago. JT was also in Platinum which I thought would have ran longer than 6 episodes. Here is NYC that show was promoted like mad, on buses and in the streets and constantly advertised on UPN at all hours of the day, then they chucked it after only 6 shows? I can't really say if it was good or bad but dang if it were a show about white people they wouldn't have just thrown it in the incinerator like that. Prime time history is filled with black dramas that were dumped quick. Why is it that the longest running black drama in broadcast TV was the White Shadow which only had 58 shows and a white man as the lead?

Platinum only had 6 episodes? Damn i didn't know that. I think Platinum should've been on a movie channel or FX cause it was too hardcore for regular tv.
