I was under the impression that he meant that John really didn't feel comfortable doing the scene. Because when Billy Bob Thorton spoke about it,( the movie scene) he didn't seem to be laughing about it.

IMO I don't think that 'acting' like a homosexual is nothing to laugh about, unless your talking about 'Three's Company'. In 'Three's Company' we all know that he was straight, just PRETENDING to be a homosexual just so he could live with the girls. But in 'Sling Blade' he protrayed himself as a 'REAL' homosexual. Watching that movie for the first time gave me chills. That is one movie of his I won't be watching again anytime too soon.
