Default Paper Dolls

When I was a little girl I loved playing with paper dolls! I was just wondering which paper dolls you girls had. Mine were from the 50's. Some that I had were;

Gale Storm-"My Little Margie" star(sitcom)

Sandra Dee- Teen queen the original Gidget

Annette Funicello- Mouseketeer

Donna Reed- The Donna Reed Show

Debbie Reynolds- film star

Giselle Mac Kenzie- Singer on "Your Hit Parade"

My daughter had Greg and Marcia and Donny and Marie

Here's Sandra Dee as Gidget with James Darren and Cliff Robertson

I used to play with paper dolls a lot too! Well, mine were from the mid 80's early 90's and mostly like barbie paper dolls. I do remember playing with my mom and aunt's old paper dolls from the 60's and the clothes would stick on with magnets. I also remember some Mary Poppins paper dolls my mom had, too. Those things are so much fun! Who knew just some paper would be so entertaining?

I used to have some paper dolls. Some of mine were Barbie, some where Disney characters, and I think some of them were like these little pioneer girls or something.

Default Paper dolls

I had the Lennon Sisters. Kathy was my favorite.
I think I also had Betsy McCall or similar. It's been a very long time! There were also generic ones.

I forgot about Betsy McCall! These paperdolls would be in each issue of McCalls magazine. Is she still a feature there? I haven't seen McCalls in years!

I liked Kathy Lennon best also!

I use to have some, but I wasnt really into them that much. My mom tried to make me play with girly things but I liked playing with boyish toys more.

McCalls was brought out by Rosie O'Donnell for her ROSIE mag in 2001 and her magazine was terminated in late 2002, as I'm sure you can remember.
