Default Question for Females. How do you define a Nice Guy and a Bad Guy?

I hear so much talk about he was too nce for me or a like a guy with a rough edge. So how do you know when u r in the presence of a Nice Guy-someone who wouldn't date, and hw do you know when u r around the Bad Boy?

Default nice vs bad guy

A nice guy is one who isn't self-centered or egotistical. Even though everyone has an ego, he doesn't let it over-ride basic kindness and politeness. Some famous men who I consider nice are/were Rick Nelson, the ultimate nice, good person, this twin sons, Matt and Gunnar, and John Travolta, to name a few.

Bad guys are those who take rebellion too far, or who are arrogant, drug addicts or use women. Celebrity examples, since everyone can relate to them, include Michael Jackon, Emenem, and Charlie Sheen, until recently. Even if these guys are not so bad, at least the image or perception is that they are at the very least offensive to "good" people.

Hope this didn't sound like I'm that judgemental, just MHO.

So why do some females see nice guys as FRIENDS instead of having a romantic interest in them?

Well I'm a girl and I don't view a nice guy as being boring as long as he and I share some common interests. If we don't have anything in common than it makes no difference to me whether he is nice or not. I feel that in order for a relationship to grow there have to be some common interests.

Because theyre TOO nice. I dont know why but I think I do get bored if someones just "nice" all the time. It becomes a 'why bother he'll just smile, nodd, and agree anyways...' and some nice guys will never disagree with anything you say and that annoys me. I know when Im with a real "nice guy" I get bored because I have to be careful what I say (ex: talking about someone i dont like or cursing even a little bit) or I feel like a burden (ex: I despise when a guy pulls a chair out for me or wont talk about himself at all)
Bottom line: nice guys are good, but 'too nice' guys arent!

Its all about balance. I dont think Id ever date the other extreme either.

I like the nice guys never ever liked the bad guys. There are alot of handsome nice guys....bad guys look like they don't care for themselves in my opinon. They take drugs and smoke...who would want to kiss a guy who just smoked? BLECH!

Nice Guys are 1# in my list

i recently realized that i NEVER like guys for their looks. just personality, which would be outgoing and funny and acting stupid and immature for the fun of it.

I agree with that completely. I hate being waited on, or the thought that the relationship is all about me.

You're right, not all of us do.

I think a nice guy is someone who treats a woman with respect, and appreciates her for the person she is. That goes for all women he meets. As for a 'bad' guy, I see them as having huge egos and thinking only of themselves. They're disrespectful and they know it. I've seen enough of them, and I could definately do without.

If you treat me with respect and scratch my back every now and then, that's all I ask for. I don't expect you to jump through hoops or give me everything under the moon.
