The Reason Why I'm Leaving - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Hey, everybody.

I know I've been hinting at not posting at Sitcoms Online anymore and that I won't be around here for a while, but here's the full reason why I'm not going to be here for a while.

Oh, and if I'm not supposed to make threads like this, I'm truly sorry. I'm telling everyone today because it is the only way to tell everyone at once and plus my computer will be unhooked tomorrow.

The reason I'm not going to post at Sitcoms Online anymore is because......

I'm going to join the military. This is not some hoax or a joke. I am dead serious. In fact, I am already a part of the U.S. Air Force.

I ship off to Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas on September 30. I've had a great time here and I've met some really good friends here and I hope you guys never forget about me and I certainly won't ever forget about you.

Take care of yourselves and wish me the best luck as I'm really going to need it.

Good for you. There's nothing wrong with joining the military. I wanted to join the Navy after HS but my mother ended up talking me out of it. I really regret not joining though. My neices fiancee is at that same Air Force base in Texas and loves it.

Because all of my stuff is going to be put in storage.

I'm very sorry to see you go, but it sounds like you're embarking on a career, or at least an experience, that might be a good thing for you. I hope that it is. If there is any way that you can pop in and say hello from time to time, I hope that you'll do it. Best of luck to you, Anthony.

Good luck, dude. My brother has been in the Air Force for five years now, so I know they'll treat ya well. Lackland is going to be hell, though. But if there's anyone who can get through it, it's you.
