For the people in school, what are some popular songs people sing or talk about?

In my school, it's Stacy's Mom. For example...if someone at one end of the hall is singing it, someone all the way at the other end can hear it and they'll start singing along.

OH MY GODDDDDD. I hate this song with a passion, and it's like our school's theme song. At our homecoming assmbley, the cheerleaders danced to it, the poms danced to it, and a teacher kareokeed (sp?) to it.

I find it cool, tho shocking that Stacy's Mom is so popular, I remember when Fountains Of Wayne first came out in the mid-90's, LOL.

I did pop over their message board and found it sick that a lot of people on their board keep going on about how "cute" the boy in the video is. Hello.... he's JAILBAIT!! And not even 16-17 year old jailbait (like I knew adults who were "he's so cute!" when N'Sync first came out with Justin was 16-17), but like 10.

not to knock Dave or anything since I do like some of his stuff. But I find it hypocritical that a lot of his fans carry on and on about how they hate "trendy" artists like Justin and Britney (who I hate but still) and the "sheep" fans who follow them. When honestly, I could've sworn that isn't it also kind of "trendy" to say you like Dave Matthews as well?

Dashboard Confessional is getting big in our school too.

Our song for the year is "Shake Ya Tailfeather" since our mascot is an eagle. lol
