Smile Calling all Christians

How many of you guys and girls here are Christians? Do you take part in Christian activities like Church, choir, charity events, etc?

I'm Christian and I go to Church most Sunday's, though it's often hard for me to get motivated because I love sleeping in. I always go at Easter and Christmas because it's so nice then. For a few months of my early teenage years I sung in Choir but I wasn't very good and dropped out in the end. Singing is not a strong point of mine.

Anyway I thought maybe we could use a thread to share favourite prayers, hymes, and stuff. Anyone game?

I'm also a Christian. I took part in a Christian group in college. I go to chucrch as often as I can. I really wish I could go to the Baptist church in town. My family is Catholic, but I've really become disillusioned with the Catholic Church.

My favorite hymn is Amazing Grace and my favorite prayer is Psalm 23.

I'm a Christian but haven't been to church since 1984 when my Grandma died. I was raised Catholic but I disagree with some of their beliefs so I choose not to practice that religion anymore. I would like to start going to church again but something other than the Catholic church.

I'm a Christian and I attend church on a regular basis. I even attend Sunday School regularly. I'm in the Senior class (high school/college group). I'm also an usher at my church.

My favorite church song is all of them because I love them all and my favorite prayer is The Lord's Prayer.

My denomination is Baptist.

I'm Christian, but I haven't gone to church in a while. I still have the beliefs and I have been baptized, so I consider myself Christian.

Thumbs up My Life is BRIGHT when God is within ME!

I'm a Christian or at least try to be. My activities as Christian are attending Church, Confirmation class, Catholic School, Mass, Christian Leadership class as well as serving in a Catholic-oriented retreat team.

I was born/raised a Christian, a Catholic to be exact... but I do not go to Church anymore. My parents force me to go to CCD, so I can make my conformation, because apparently they don't get the fact that half the time I don't even believe in God.

I am a Christian, but I don't go to church anymore. I don't know why. I guess I just don't feel comfortable in church. A lot of the people in churches anymore are so phony. They use the same tongue to praise God one minute and run you down behind your back the next. And they all try to show off how 'rich' they are by driving fancy cars and wearing fancy clothes. If you aren't rich enough to contribute big bucks to their churches, then you aren't important to them. Sorry, but my Bible tells me that I am a child of God, and that God looks at your heart, not your pocketbook.

I'm Christian. WELS Lutheran to be exact. I go to church pretty regulary. I'm am definitely going tomorrow, we have a potluck, yum. My family is very religious, we have many WELS teachers and pastors in our family. In fact I went to a Lutheran school for 9 years K-8th grade. Although I do have a tendency to nod off during the sermons.Oh, incase you're wondering WELS stands for Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. It is one of the most conservative of the Lutheran churches.

Ditto to most of that. I believe in God tho...but I haven't been to church since Easter. We'll go again...eventually...my mom will start to feel bad about it. We always go Christmas and Easter. But yea, I haveta go to youth group to get confirmed. I didn't really wanna be confirmed...b/c I disagree with some stuff in my religion...but as soon as I'm confirmed I never haveta go to youth group again. Yippee. I'm doing it to make my mom happy basically...*shrugs* and I get money...heh...

I'm the distant-cousin of the Luthran church, Episcopalian Also known as Anglican, we're the church of England - you know, the one the Pilgrams were running away from? I've been going to church my entire life. Not just the holidays, but every Sunday. Since I've moved to college though my church-going has kinda lagged. I really don't like the oncampus church so when I have the time, I'll actually drive the half hour and go back to my old church. When I lived in Germany I attended both the Protestant and Catholic churches - we had this beautiful gothic Catholic cathedral that was built in 1200
