Default A Movie on TBS sometimes...

Okay, I need someone to explain to me the DEAL with this movie. I THINK it's called "Disappearance", where a family with a Dad, a Stepmom, a daughter, a son, and the son's friend go to this mine or something where it's real hot and stuff. And later they find an area where an Atomic Bomb was tested. Could someone explain the ending to me, what was the deal with the poeple in the town, and what was going on? I didn't get it.

I thiknk the Dad and Stepmom were stars on some Drama Show in the '80's or '90's, BTW.

I don't watch ANY TBS movies anymore! The way they destroy movies by their stupid editing.....they are just absolutely unwatchable! Ask your cable company to get CITY-TV in Toronto instead. Their movies are uncut and unedited..... all the time! Nothing is left out.

From what I read, anything goes in Canada these days, eh? (I promise I was gonna say "eh" before I thought of that stereotype.)

Anyway, I like the way TV edits some movies. A lot are un-watchable in theater/VHS/DVD (unedited). But when WB cuts out the entire Policeman-drinking-Lloyd's-Pee from "Dumber and Dumber", THAT is going TOO far! I don't get it, a LOT of what WB shows is near Porn, but you cannot show a man drinking pee. SOOO stupid....

I know! TBS wrecks every thing, City-TV is a great station! I like how they dont edit anything out. And TBS has too long of adds. Its really annoying. Worst one ive seen on TBS so far has been Dumb& Dumber. Edited all the funny parts out. That was one of my fav movies too. Its annoying i know, but they wont change it.

Hi AKA:

Yes they do. Especially on the
CITY-TV HD Channel. Which is their High Definiation channel. I believe all of the movies at CITY-TV HD are in Dolby Digital as well. The regular CITY-TV Channel does not normally show movies on widescreen, but they are uncut and unedited. Check out their website.

PS: Check Out Baby Blue 2. You won't find these movies on TBS!

I wish I could help you out, but it doesn't sound like one I've seen before.
