I was just a kid when I watched these two episodes, I think I happened to stumble upon UM by accident. Does anyone know if there was any kind of closure in these two incidents?
1) I can't remember the name of the victim, location, or anything but this particular episode stuck in my mind: someone found a woman in her car in the parking lot. At first, most people ignored her because they thought she might have been napping there. Well, one day, someone tapped on the window because they had noticed that lady was lying in her car seat for quite a period of time, turns out she was dead. Now, when an autopsy was done, they found marks on her knees or legs, I think, but they couldnt' figure out what had caused it. Turns out it was some kind of burn mark, they speculated maybe it was an iron (the kind you press your clothing with). CREEPY!! 2) Carson Prince. The college student who left home one morning to go hand in her college application, but a witness recalled seeing someone push her out of her car on the highway. It's on the official UM website. I've noticed they dont' update it regularly, So I've been curious about that one too. |

The former case you described sounds to me like the case of a woman named Tracy, if I recall that name right (though I can't think of her last name). Her murder took place in Louisiana in April of 1989. Her body had some burns on them, but investigators were unable to determine what device might have caused the burns. It was said that there was no evidence of a struggle, suggesting that the woman may have known her killer. When I last saw the segment, there was still no update. So the murder is evidently still unsolved.
So is the 1999 murder of Carson Prince.
