Hello, all.
Well, I just finished watching the season premiere of "Ed"! First of all, I'd like to express how very excited I was all day. I just couldn't wait to finally view a brandy-spankin' new episode! I must say, I WAS a little nervous, though. Ed and Carol getting "together" wasn't exactly my idea of classic "Ed". All in all, I thought the whole mess was hilarious! I mean, how awkward everything was between the love-birds; the whole "pedigree battle" over Mike and Nancy's new dog; the "pie lady"...I could go on and on. I really thought that tonight's episode would be lousy...Ed and Carol aren't supposed to be together! But, everything turned out pretty good. Can't wait 'til next week! Later. david&maddie4ever |

I thought the season premiere was excellent. Your right about the awkwardness between Carol and Ed. I don't know who that new woman selling the pies is but I hope she stays. I think Eli likes her. I also liked the little sidestory with the dog. Ed's back and it looks like another great season.

Mr. Roper ~
"Ed's back and it looks like another great season." God, I hope so! The ONLY way this show will last is if Ed and Carol split...and SOON!!! When I saw their first scene together, I thought the whole lovey-dovey thing wouldn't last 20 minutes! I just really hope they dump the romance, bring back the tension, and return "Denis the Great" for one more season (...just to shake things up!). Later. ![]() david&maddie4ever |

Mr. Roper ~
So true. "Ed" is primetime NBC, and nobody's writing about it except you and me! My dad LOVES Denis. He WAS a great character. He should be brought back. I mean, his story was kinda unfinished. As you can probably tell by my username, I'm a "Moonlighting" FANATIC!!! That show was awesome, but I only watched it for about a year. Then it was taken off Bravo, and I haven't seen it since (...other than my tapes!). I never really saw the whole "romance" thing with Maddie and David. I only witnessed the extreme chemistry and the tension and anxiety that I felt EVERY time they had a scene together. That's what I'd like to see back from "Ed". My favorite episode was "Memory Lane". Ed went around filming everything because he didn't want to let his life pass him by. The last scene had Ed and Carol in Stuckybowl (I think) watching his little movie, and I was yelling at the screen, "Would you just KISS already?" I want those days back! Later. david&maddie4ever |

I was just about to start a thread about the new Ed season. Good thing I looked first.
I liked the season premiere. I thought the show had slipped the past two seasons because the romance between Ed and Carol took a backseat while they persued seprate relationships, but now that they're together, maybe some of the charm will come back. I'm glad it's back, none the less. I hope it sticks around. |

Hey, TJL! I'm glad there are more than TWO "Ed" fans in the world!
I, for one, can't wait 'til next week! I want to see if this whole relationship thing is going to last or not. I'm really not sure! I liked the days when Ed and Carol were the main topic, and characters like Warren Cheswick were left behind. I tune in to see some TENSION!!! What are they farting around for? BTW: I DO like Mike and Nancy A LOT! They should do more stories with them. Molly's great, too!Later. david&maddie4ever |

I always thought that Molly and Ed would make an interesting couple.
