Angry trader warning

Hi Everyone, this is a warning to any who is currently thinking about doing a trade with mickyfan413@msn.com, DO NOT DO A TRADE WITH HIM, I SET UP A TRADE WITH HIM, AND SENT HIM WANT HE WANTED, THEN HE TOLD ME HE SENT MY TAPES OUT ON SEPTEMBER 15, 2003, AND THAT WAS LAST MONDAY, I STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN MY TAPES AS OF TODAY, HE IS A SCAM ARTIST AND WONT SEND THE TAPES AS PROMMISED... JUST A WARNING, AND ALSO SOME ADVICE I HAVE LEARNED, IF YOU DO A TRADE IN THE FUTURE MAKE THE PERSON SEND THERE TAPES FIRST, DONT GET SCREWED LIKE ME....

i've traded with him and things were fine.

You do realize that was only 8 days ago, right? If you send something Media Mail (which is nearly the ONLY way I ship) that it could take up to several WEEKS for the package to arrive.

I'd check this information out before calling someone a scam artist.

9 days isn't that much of a wait when you really look at it. Priority Mail could take that long under some circumstances.

On my left, I saw days upon days of lipstick and ticking clocks, dirty looks and quiet whisperings. And burning secrets that just won't ever die away. And on my right, what could I picture? The blue sky, the desert earth, stretching out into the eerie infinity. A beautiful never-ending nothing.

Cool

Yeah, I used to send a gal in California a box of blank tapes every few weeks by priority mail and it consistently took 8-10 days for her to get them. Really whizzed me off, I mean, when you pay for priority, you know. I sent my friend in Illinois a bunch of video cds by media mail, thinking id be saving money since shes just a state away - once it took 3 weeks and once it took 3 days. It's a toss up.

The postman will usually tell you media mail is between 7-21 days.
Have you asked if maybe he has a tracking number so that you could check the status of it?

I have been trading for a few years now on various forums. The best way to handle any dispute is to email this post to the trader in question so they can reply to it and speak up for there actions. Traders are based on reputations, the better the reputation the more traders want to trade with them. If you have a problem with someone these posts can damage there Rep and possibly keep other traders from dealing with them in the future. So if I were you I'd email this link to him. Maybe he is having an issue right now keeping his stuff from reaching you? Maybe he sent it media mail and it takes a long time to arrive? No one knows unless he says what it is. It's best not to assume anything this early in the process like other people have stated

I also had problems getting to the PO because of the hurricane. I was without power for nearly 2 days. I was definitely worried about other things aside from the post office.

I have traded with him before and things were fine, I think it's pretty early to assume. You should try and get some patience.

Agreed. In california takes about a week using ups service and sometimes 2 weeks using regular mail
