What bothered me about Keith if I remember correctly was that he was suppose to be a pro football player but had a bad leg or something!?
How come he was living there?
Didn't he have any job skills?
What was his major in college?
Why did Thelma marry him? She was doing bad by herself!

He didn't get on his feet until the last episode!!

I hated the Keith character. I liked the episode where he yells at Thelma and Michael gets in Keith's face and corrects him.

Keith should have been bounced out on that leg from his first show. That really didn't make any since to me.And especially the Wedding it really made me angry how he treated JJ afterwards.Keith just had no business there on the show anyway.Especially after JJ had almost given his arm and leg paying for that God forsaken wedding. He acted like a real jerk.

I totally agree! The apartment was already cramped as hell and Keith and Thelma decide to live in her bedroom? Get Real. Where were his parents and didnt he get a degree from college?

The episodes with Keith were the hardest to watch because they made no sense what so ever. Thelma would have been better off with Ebe' the African Prince.

Another thing that irked the hell out of me about him, was that he was always trying to be funny, but WAS NOT! Always trying to impersonate people and get laughs. He served no purpose. You would think they would have not let Thelma marry such a zero!

I think that should had casted Clifton Davis, (That's my Mama) as Thelma's husband..I saw an episode of the Love Boat where these two actors played husband and wife and they were perfect for each other....

I agree with everyone about Keith. He was horrible. If they were going to have Thelma get married, the writers should have brought back Larry. Remember him, he had all these plans about opening his own business and everything, Keith was just a loser. The writer really missed the boat on this one. I always thought that the other actors were uncomfortable with him also.
