I've been a fan of Sanford and son since it came out on Friday nights. I was wondering if anyone remembers the man who used to work at the various stores. Who was he? He had that obnoxious voice "weeeeeeeeelll" and those great comeback lines. My favorite was when Rollo and Lamont was in the store buying a ring and he told Rollo to turn around because the store was having a free giveaway. He said "goood, the store just took your picture for free". Then Rollo said "goooooood, how would you like I take your teeth for the same price". Who was that man and what other shows did he appear on?..
Great message board!! |

He used to be a semi-regular on the Jack Benny Show! I loved that guy he was hilarious! We used to impersonate him in school. At that time he was doing commercials for McDonalds. A real funny guy with a unforgettable voice!

I always enjoyed when Fritzi Burr guest starred on the show. No matter what character she played, she was always a good adversary for Fred. They should have made her a semi-regular. Very funny!

I would consider them semi regulars if they appeared on there more than once but now that you mention it there were some pretty good bit players on there for Fred to attack!
