Hidden room in the Roper's apartment? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

There is one scene that took place in the Roper's apartment that I remember very well because it seemed rather ridiculous to me. I believe this scene was from #0106: Roper's Niece.

In the scene, Jack and a girl are inside the Ropers apartment. I believe they were getting romantic when Mr. Roper entered the apartment and scared them. At this point, the girl runs off and disappears into the lower left corner of the screen. I cannot tell for sure, but it appears as if though she opened a door and ran inside a room. Jack tries to run after her but is stopped by Mr. Roper.

Did anybody ever see a small room in that corner of the apartment? I never did, so I think that was rather bad editing. It may have made more sense if the girl ran into the kitchen on the lower right corner of the screen.

That was odd to me too. It seemed like she just ran right off the set, in a place where there shouldnt have been a room.

No it was a just a blooper on her part

Most apartments have a hall closet of some type. Maybe the viewer was supposed to assume she ran in there to change?

Btw, notice the cackle at 19:30 from someone in the audience.

I always thought that the hidden room in the Ropers/Furley's apartment was the kitchen...
