They should bring in a supporting actor a few episodes after Pauls death, but I think that till the family deals with Pauls death they should focus on the main cast and not developing a new character. No boyfriend for Cate, just a shoulder for the family to lean on. Henry Winkler would be great since he would respect it as always being Johns show.

I said this before but... I think they should bring in an actor that is as loved as John Ritter, and have them play the kids uncle.

Such as Henry Winkler.

Well, they are going to continue the show with Cate as a single mother and kill off Paul's character. but IMO they should just cancel the show, without John it is nothing!
