For those of you that have LPs lurking around your house, what's in your collection?
I don't really have many records, I stopped getting them when I got my first CD player in 1993 (it was my tenth birthday present) but my mother has a massive collection including albums from: The Beatles Janice Joplin Blondie The O'Jays Rose Royce Jackson 5 The Who The Rolling Stones Black Sabbeth Elivs Presley The Jam Aretha Franklin Most of her stuff is from the 60s-70s. She's got so many, way more than listed above. I love listening to them, hearing music on records feels very different from CDs or tapes for some reason. What about you? |

I think I either gave my old records away, which is very stupid, or lost them in moves, which is just sad. I'm tempted to buy them again on Ebay, but haven't yet.
I do have: Lennon Sisters Lawrence Welk (my parents stuff) Barbara Mandrell Classical -George Gershin, Mozart, etc. The moon landing & Apollo 13 JFK speeches I have lots of Rick Nelson CDs though! Play them all the time. |
