What is it about ALF this show that so many like it? Back in the 80's i try like to look at this show but could not get into. Did i miss something?

ALF's satirical humor will prove to be timeless, similar to the humor of Marx Brothers, Three Stooges, and Abbott & Costello.
To truly appreciate the nuances of ALF humor you have to have adult mentality, but be a kid at heart.
