Default Denise Got Kicked Off The Show Because Of Angel Heart Movie

I think Lisa Bonet was kicked off the show because Bill didn't want her to do the Angel Heart movie with Mickey Rourke & Robert De Niro. There was gonna be a intense sex scene between Mickey & Lisa. I remember reading about this in the black magazine Jet back in 87. Bill was really against her doing this movie & she did it anyway.

Didn't that movie bomb at the box office?

She must have apologize like hell to get back on the show and get lead for a year on A Different World?!

I hear Bill kicked Cockroach off the show because he would get a haircut!

Yeah Angel Heart did terrible at the box office. The movie was about voodoo & grisly murders happening in New Orleans. Mickey Rourke was a cop in the movie investigating these strange murders & Robert De Niro was the devil. I never saw the movie but i read about the intense sex scene between Mickey & Lisa Bonet. I read that there was blood dripping from the ceiling on them while they were having sex. I read a chicken's head was cut off in the movie. I don't like movies like this.

Lisa Bonet was still in the show after she did the movie, though it did kind of tarnished her reputation, they knew the ratings would be good bc people wanted to see the tension between the two characters Cliff & Denise. her last season was in 1990-1991 during the 7th season. The decision for leaving was a mutual decision by both Bill & Lisa, i remember hearing this during a documentary on E Network on the Cosby Kids.

Angel Heart was a horrible picture! I believe it won a raspberry award for horrible film. Apparently, Lisa wanted to break out of her Sweet all American teen image and she chose the role of a voodoo priestess in this film to do so. I always felt she was ungrateful brat who did not appreciate Cosby for helping to start her Career. Lisa Bonet is just another Tina Louise, who likes to disrespect her co-workers and the show that made her a household name. . In last year's Reunion, she did not appear because "she did not feel the love", well she was certaintly not missed.

Lisa used to be so cute when she first appeared on Cosby. Now she looks like a monster hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. She is so ugly now. Have ya'll seen her in Biker Boys movie? I think Lenny Kravitz turned her out.
