Default Say What?? (Emmys)

Is there supposed be a Joyce/Suzanne reconciliation during the Emmys or something?

I'm confused!

Joyce was supposed to be there and she and Suzanne were going to be reunited.

Just watch the Emmy's. She might show up. i hope she does. but since i can't stand Suzanne i hope she and Joyce do not make up.

Suzanne is a greedy, money hungry little beyotch.

Uhhh... no, she isn't, and she does not deserve to be called that. You have the same grudge-attitude as Joyce does, and just because Joyce has been mad at Suzanne doesn't mean you have any reason to be insulting to Suzanne.

She doesn't deserved to be called all these names by people who do not know the whole story. None of us ever will.

First of all, Joyce does not hate Suzanne. They were BFFL during Three's Company and only started to fight when Suzanne fought for more money. And I doubt Suzanne is a money hungry biznotch. She loved John just as much as everyone else and from what I know, she only wanted more money because of her husband. I think we should be a little more graceful towards Suzanne. She may have been terrible from what we hear, but she is human and was just as upset about what has happened as everyone else. She has just lost one of her best friends. Be nice.

As a side note, it's annoying me how they keep saying the tribute to John is up next when it's not! lol it hasnt come on the Emmys yet but I cant wait. It's going to be touching and sad but very respectful becuz they wont focus mainly on Three's Company, even tho that was the highlight of his career.

I love John. My Angel of Laughter.

Henry Winkler did a nice job in his tribute to JR.

Default Very rushed tribute for John tonight

Disapponting to say the least. the people in charge of the show earlier tonight said the tribute to John would cover his entire career. LIES!!!! Winkler was
great as i expected. but because they rushed John's tribute he had to talk faster then he wanted to it seemed.

Henry's always great. The tribute should have been longer.

Default Very Rushed Tribute

I agree. I'd thought there'd be more too. I'm glad Winkler did the tribute though. He impressed me as being very sincere tonight and as being very sincere in all his interviews regarding his friend, John Ritter. I didn't expect a reconciliation tonight. I think that Somers and Dewitt still harbor enough hard feelings toward one another for a reconciliation--even now. I think Somers is a compassionate person, but I agree with Dewitt when she says that she didn't like the tactics Somers used to try and win her position, back in the 70s. Now...even though those very same tactics are used all the time by TV personalities today, it was still a little different in Somers' case. Don't forget--Somers was saying that SHE was now the star of Three's Company, when for several years prior, and from the show's inception for that fact, the three Stars shared equal billing. She was now putting her head above both Ritter's head and Dewitt's head. And most people aren't going to like something like that very much. One thing that confused me though was something Ritter said at an interview on the subject. He said that he thought Somers was angry because he and Dewitt didn't support her in her efforts aganist the producers. I don't understand why they would have. In essence, Somers was saying, "I'm more popular than you and I deserve more money." And I think to this day Somers feels as she did then. I don't think Ritter was really one to hold grudges though. I don't think he took that whole thing as personally as Dewitt did. Ritter was just happy moving on with his career. Now... if anyone could have brokered a deal for a reconciliation between Dewitt and Somers, it would have been Ritter. But you know what?Someday it'll happen for the two. After all, all have survived the ordeal and have moved on. Life is short. And for Somers and Dewitt...don't waste any more time. Remember the fun and the laughter and a wonderful time of life shared together. Now..."two's company" and the best company to remember Three's Company.

I don't think that they could have found a better person to present Johns tribute than Winkler. He has such a way with words that he makes himself be heard. You can clearly tell that what he's saying is comming from his heart.
I wish the tribute was longer, but I have to say that in the short time that Winkler had, he got his point across and he did it very well.
I watched some of the post-emmy interviews, and a couple people commented on John's tribute and how they liked it.
I am so glad that it was Henry that did it.
