Default 'Mate For Each Other' on last night

THIS WAS THE BEST JACK AND JANET EPISODE OF ALL TIME!! How at the resteraunt they were trying to make out and it got all messed up...so cute!! And notice that Jack was the one who wanted them to go through with the date...hidden attraction?? And at the end when he was talking to her after Terri went to bed and she was all like "it was not a date date, if you know what I mean." Was it just me, or did he look like he wanted to kiss her again, only that time for real??

Tell me what you think!!!

I agree with you!! That episode is my favorite of them all!! I laughed so hard when Jack was trying to kiss Janet and ended up smacking her in the nose or kissing her eye. I don't think Jack was trying to kiss Janet again at the end. I think he had a little something else in mind but when Janet said "It wasn't a date date" then he quickly changed his mind cause he knew it wasn't going to happen. I will forever believe that Jack and Janet make the cutest couple and should've ended up getting married.

How about the episode where Jack kisses Janet numerous times at the party when he's fired up cause he took pills to get rid of his fear of planes. That was cute too.

i liked that episode too. it wasn't so much as "funny" but "cute-funny" if that makes sense. the whole episode seemed about them and that something was going to happen between them, but it didn't

I watch this one yest. for the first time, and i really really like it! Jack and Janet are my fav. characters! They should of ended the show w/them or have them spin off together as a couple, This epid. was so funny in a cute way! I really like the part where they make fun of the lies they said on the computer ?s!

I always thought that there was GREAT on-screen chemistry between John and Joyce....

You just KNEW that Janet thought Jack was cute, but she could stand up to him and put him in his place when he acted like he was "God's gift to women".

There was a certain "give and take" between them....just like Joe and Helen on "Wings" and Paul and Jamie on "Mad About You"....

In fact, most of the time Jack and Janet acted more like a married couple than other sitcom characters who WERE married!

LOL, I totally agree. And, if you listen closely in "Mate For Each Other," there's all sorts of "key lines" that mean things.

For example, in the very beginning when the guy (sorry, don't remember his name) was trying to sell Jack on computer dating, he says, "You just tell the computer what you want and that's exactly what you'll get!" Jack put in what he wanted ... and he got Janet. LOL.

Also, in the restaurant, Jack says that "there might be something to this computer dating after all," and they even toast to it. And how he was complimenting her very sincerely (never really did that before in so serious a manner)...

I'll stop now, but there's all sorts of little things and lines in that episode to pick up on...

I AGREE ALL THE WAY. JACK AND JANET ALWAYS ACTED LIKE THEY WERE MARRIED. BUT YOU GUYS EVER NOTICE HOW JACK HAD A DATE WITH A GIRL, JANET WOULD GET MAD AND JEALOUS AND WHEN JANET HAD A DATE, JACK WOULD GET JEALOUS BUT NOT SHOW IT AS MUCH AS JANET DID!! THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN THEM WAS SO CUTE AND REAL I WONDER IF THEY HAD IT OFF SCREEN, NAH, I DOUBT IT BECAUSE JOHN WAS MARRIED AND JOYCE HAD A STEADY BOYFRIEND AND JOHN AND JOYCE LOVED EACHOTHER LIKE BROTHER AND SISTER. BUT STILL, YOU NEVER KNOW

In the episode "Mate for eachother" remember when Jack and Janet toast and then Janet says Brick instead of Duke(Which was Jack's computer name)!! That had me rolling off my chair!!

I noticed that, too, and was thinking the exact same thing! I seriously believe they really liked each other, they were just afraid to confront each other and that maybe it'd ruin their friendship. *sigh* it would have been great if they got together, though.

I think its so funny how "Mate for eachother" Jack and Janet have such a hard time kissing eachother. Yet, they've kissed many times in previous episodes. So funny!

Probably because they got all caught up in the moment.

i have always thought that they secretly liked eachother and should end up together. in "mate for eachother" jack and janet do end up going on a date together, so that must mean that what each one is looking for in the opposite sex is eachother! i guess they were really mean't to be together after all and it should have ended that way. she does put him in his place when needed and they both knew alot about eachother anyway. they put up with eachother and it would have worked out between them.
