Good Idea/Bad Idea - Movie Edition
Hey kids! It's your Uncle TJL here.
A while back I started a good idea/bad idea thread about TV, which at the risk of exageration, was the greatest thread ever! Anyway, I thought we'd turn our attention to the world of movies. Give me a good idea and then a bad one about a movie. Example: Star Wars - The Special Edition Good Idea - Adding the Jabba The Hutt/Han Solo hanger scene that was never used in the 1977 original. Bad Idea - Making Greedo shoot first. Star Trek Nemesis Good Idea - Riker and Troi getting married Bad Idea - Data's death. Get it? Got it? Good.

good idea - making a close to the book movie bad idea - leaving out Tom Bombadil and replacing Gilgalad with Arewyn  Gilgalad was cool why was he not in the movie!! |
