Default Since Ritter Passed and N@N was airing the Up In he Air ep, i just thought they would

show his entire dance scene which was Jack Tripper at his best but I sww that I was wrong and N@N really needs to hand this show over to TV LAND or TBS. I just they would atleast show more footage of that particular episode since he was at his best during the show's run. I'm so disapointed at N@N.

I can't believe they are still editing that dance scene. Its the highlight of the entire episode and probably one of the funniest tv scenes of all time.

Exactly, which means i have to cherish my TBS version of Up in The Air since they left the entire dance scene in. I just wish N@N will stop showing that episode

Yeah, I was actually thinking that, too. But I'm glad I actually did get to see the part they cut out because they showed it on one of the specials for him.

That's one of the things that suck about N@N.

And the thing that maskes N@N looks more STUPID is that ABC showed the dance scene in a tribute special but N@N can't show the dance scene in a episode-LOL

I understand where you're all coming from, but I wasn't surprised that Nick at Nite didn't re-edit (or show unedited) this episode. It would have sacrificed advertising time and, frankly, you can't really show a half an hour of television without advertising, unless you're a huge station who can afford to do it once in a while since it's very expensive.

And, if you think about it, if they did it with this episode, people would expect them to do it with a whole block of Jack episodes as a special (which would be awesome).

It would have been nice, and I see where you're coming from, but I also understand the other side of it too, which is why I'm not as upset as I should be...

Yea but in regular syndication the dance sequence is shown uncut. They could have edited something else out of the episode instead of the dance sequence.

That's true, but I don't see N@N spending extra time and money to re-edit an episode that they've already measured out for time and everything. What would they cut out, anyway? Almost everything that's left in is important to the plot of the episode - what did the other stations (like TBS) cut out?

TBS cut out the very beginning. On N@N you see terri sitting on the couch reading a magazine when it comes on. TBS version u see Janet walking through the door in the beginning

That's what I'm thinking. But I guess JWood201 is right.

It was proven by ABC that the dance scene was the most entertaining Jack Tripper Moment and N@N refuses to understand that which is obvious by how the episode was cut.

I saw that special, I won't argue with you. I couldn't breathe because I was laughing so hard at his dancing in that special. During the whole ep from last night, I just kept thinking, come on and get to the dance scenes. I'm glad they at least left in the 'I'm getting down' part. I'd love to have a pic from that exact scene. Right when he goes down. lol
