So far, Good Times seems to be in the lead as the number one spin-off.

I have three favorite spin-offs, the first being The Facts of Life followed by Laverne & Shirley and Maude.

Frasier is by far the greatest spin-off to ever air on TV. It is also probably in the top 20 greatest sitcoms of all time. Don't just take my word for it. It has been on for 11 seasons, duplicating its origin show, Cheers, and has won the most Emmys of any television program ever to air in the history of television. Plus, after the eleventh season Dr. Frasier Crane will be the only sitcom character to have remained on the air for 20 consecutive seasons. The only other TV characters to have been on the air that long are Marshall Dillon and Doc Adams from Gunsmoke, which was also on the air for 20 seasons.
