june 16 2002....."give me a ring sometime" the only reason why I remember...lol is because it was two days after school ended. I was trying to fall asleep because I had work the next day, so I turned on Nick and said "AW man the CHEERS marathon is on...hmm...maybe it'll help me go to sleep". It didn't. I did not go to sleep till 2 am...laughing really hard.

I don't know the exact date, but I remember hating it in the beginning. The Sam/Diane romance is what really hooked me.

Umm, Its been awhile. But Norm is what got me hooked. I was just watching it and was like "Oh my god George Wendt is awesome".
So thats how it started I guess.

I remember watching the last episode back in 1993 with my mom. I didn't remember anything about it (I was 5 years old!). I first starting watching it in October of 2001, when it first came on N@N. I watched one episode and I was hooked!

I remember the first episode I saw was Coach in Love part 2. I had actually seen it before but I wasn't really interested. After that I started watching it everyday and that's how it started.

My ex-friend was spending the night and nothing was on, so we were flipping through the channels and the end of Cheers was on. It was "Yacht of Fools" and we saw the tail end of it, and I was thinking "OMG, that lady looks soooo familiar". So I waited til next time it came on, and saw "How to Recede in Business"... or "Executive Sweet" (two websites have different names for that episode). Then I REALLY got hooked watching this Norm marathon. It was hilarious!

Cheers is not #1 on my lsit, but it is deffanatley close! When I started loving this show, was in 2002, on N@N. It was because of coach. I loved his character, he was hilarious.
To bad he died.

Last summer, about a year and half ago.
I would watch Family Ties and Cheers once in while, if there was nothing else on. But I wasnt the obsessive type. The Cosby Show came, which I had always liked during the day, and got even more hooked. I had a big Bill Cosby addiction at that time, then it started to fade away. And here I am, Cheersism. The summer marathon was really messed up. Because when a show would say.... to be continued.... the next night was suddenly "the Rebecca years" or vice versa. Is it me, or am I hating Kirstie Alley more and more every day?? |
