HOLY CRAP!!! HOLY CRAP!! HOLY CRAP!! I JUST DID MY MONTHLY SEARCH ON MY TIVO FOR THE ODD COUPLE AND I DISCOVERED IT IS COMING BACK TO WPIX IN NEW YORK CITY STARTING SEPTEMBER 28...LOUSY TIME 2:30 AM..BUT HEY.....IT IS BACK ON...SET THOSE FRIGGING VCRS!!!

I need to correct myself..September 30... If you need some tapes to get you through I do have a bunch on home video I can copy...I like to trade..

Anyway...I want to thank the lord Jesus Christ..Who I prayed to every night to bring the Odd Couple back to NYC so I can watch it again...And no better place than the old stomping grounds of WPIX!! Thank You JESUS!!!!!! YOU ARE TRULY THE LORD!!!

Thanks for posting this GREAT news. The Odd Couple on WPIX; it's like stepping into a time machine. Now if we could only get it back to 11PM. Speaking of the Jets, remember when Oscar was covering the Jets-Bengals game and admitted that he placed a bet? Classic! I can't wait to start a tape collection. Thanks again.

The New York Jets were mentioned alot on the ODD COUPLE..as was the Mets.....

I guess Oscare being a sportswriter all the teams got a push..

MYRNA!! GET ME THE PHILE ON THE NEW YORK JETS!!!

Oscar wore a Yankees hat in Season One...Then wore a Mets cap the rest of the way!!

We know Oscar's favorite baseball team was the Mets. he admitted that in one episode... I don't know his favorite football team. The Jets are mentioned often..But he gambled betting against them one time...So hard to think he is a Jets fan.

. Although I only remember the Giants mentioned ONE TIME!! And that was the other Cosell Episode which had the funniest scene in the Odd Couple's history where Felix took over the play by play!!!

Oscar: Houston is playing San Diego for last place. The Jets are playing Miami for the lead I want to stay and cover that.
