Default I actually enjoyed the performance of the 12-year old kid that was in

the trunk of the car. I was actually laughing. I think his first appearance was funnier that the first episode. Not to take anything away from Freddie, but i just enjoyed the appearance of the little kid more. JMO. Please don't attack me CATM Fans-LOL

Overall the little kid probably wasn't better than Freddie but his first episode was more entertaining than Freddie's to me.

I'm a Raul fan, too. It's just not something I mention alot, because (and for good reason) everyone else here loves Freddie Prinze. And for the most part, when I talk about Raul, hardly anyone responds. The only thing I didn't like about Raul, was that Ed always called him "Chico". Whenever he does that, it just makes us think about what we don't have.

I read online that Gabriel Melgar has a wife and two kids now.

So my guess is he's about 42/43 years old now. Did you get your tape Adam?

We are all fans of the show here as well as fans of Freddie. I know we are all entitled to our own opinions about what we like and don't like. And as I tell the kids in school, if everyone were alike in this world, it would be a very boring place. I guess I would base the popularity of Freddie vs Gabriel not only on my personal preference for Freddie, but also on the fact that the ratings seem to speak to it as well.

Yes, I got the tape. Thanks.

About Raul, I think that if the show started with Gabriel and Freddie was never on the show, it would have been cancelled after only one season, if that. I mean that last season, they changed it so much. Here's a little word visual:

eps. 66-76
Ed Brown
Raul Garcia
Louie Wilson
Della Rogers

eps. 77-82
Ed Brown
Raul Garcia
Louie Wilson
Aunt Charo

eps. 83-88
Ed Brown
Raul Garcia
Louie Wilson
Monica

By the end, it seemed like Raul was on the show for a few years.
