so sad.. in 1 hour & 2 minutes.. I found out John Died on CNBC.. I just saw the very end of a story like 1 second.. then the 2 dates

then I didn't believe it.. and turn the channel to FOX News..and in a minute I saw the whole story!

I was just sitting there.. then decided to wake up my brother.. and tell me

Damn 1 week ago.. wow

I still can't believe he's gone. How do you think his wife is holding up? I mean, my god, he passed the day of his daughter's birthday, then his wife's birthday was the next day. His birthday was the 17th and the 18th their anniversary. I mean, how do you move on? Especially with all those special days inbetween.
I just hope his family knows that our prayers are with them. I wish I could contact her to tell her I just want to hug them and be there for them at this sad time in their lives.

I dont understand why, but I have been in a depression since it has happened. I was a huge fan of Three's Company. I didnt really watch 8 Simple Rules only becuz it wasnt my kind of slapstick physical humor I love. But I feel like I knew him personally after watching all these specials. Now I cant go a day without crying about it and for his family. It's like God decided there were too many good people in this world. I dunno. Maybe I'm overemotional. I have to say I love him.

I have to say you're not alone. I've been feeling the same way. Constantly changing the channel to make sure i'm not missing anything about him. Or constantly coming on here to see if anyone knows anything knew about him. I'm like obsessed with him now. I've always been a big fan of his, since Three's Company. It really feels like I knew him personnaly though. I have never ever felt like this over the passing of any other celebrity, it's so strange. I don't think i've felt like this about a family member come to think of it. Although i still have both my parents. I was 7 when Three's first aired, maybe that's why i feel so strongly, he didn't just come and go like friends do. He was there from day one and continues to be.

He isnt like any other celebrity. He was real, a loving father and just a wonderful person. I was lucky enough to meet him when I visited DIsney World and he was so graceful and couldnt do enough for us. What Henry Winkler said sums it up the best.

I agree with you all here. I have been depressed since finding out the news of his death on my AOL Browser. It just seems so unreal, how a loving, caring man such as John has died and is no longer with us. I know things happen for a reason. But I have been struggling and it is had to cope. I am feeling for John's family and the cast of 8 Simple Rules as well as Threes Company. I've spoken to many people regarding John's death in his line of buisness as well as out and they are just as shocked and saddened over his sudden death. If we continue here with his memories that made us both laugh and smile, We can keep John memorie alive now and for ever!
