Default Larry King DISRESPECTS John Ritter

How the hell can that old walking corpse Larry King do this???

He has at least a 1 hour show on Johnny Cash, whose wife had died recently and who was sick with diabetes and died at 71.

I said at least a 1 hour show because not only was he on Monday night and but I think Cash was on over the weekend to because on Friday Larry King said he would show some old interview with Cash over the weekend.

But John Ritter was MUCH YOUNGER than Cash and showed no signs of sickness and YET HE DIED TOTALLY UNEXPECTEDLY!!

And yet all he has for John Ritter is a measley 18 minutes on Friday and then a paltry 7 minutes on Monday!!! WHAT A JOKE!!!

WE ALL KNOW that John Ritter deserves AT LEASE a full hour on Larry King Live where CALLERS CAN CALL IN AND ASK QUESTIONS OR GIVE COMMENTS ABOUT JOHN RITTER!!! Johnny Cash got the full hour and John Ritter deserves the same!!

Everyone please call CNN at 404-827-1500 and request to have Ritter on for the full hour on Larry King Live. Ask for the Larry King Live show and then they will transfer you to someone.

THANKS A LOT FELLOW RITTER FANS

I don't have no problem with the Johnny Cash tribute. He deserved it too but Friday was pitiful. To be replaced by Sharon Stone was a Joke.

I thought the Friday and Monday segments about John were good. I was glad to see/hear Suzanne Somers, Richard Kline, Priscilla Barnes, and Joyce DeWitt talk about him. It's better than nothing...I'm sure that it would've been longer if there were more people. The Johnny Cash segment had what...like six or seven people? That's probably why it lasted so long.

Different sources will put more attention on either Cash or Ritter. Notice Cash got the cover of Time magazine while Ritter only got a small blurb inside.

I'm not complaining, though. Cash was an immensely talented, massively influential musician still making great music. He had also found an entire new generation of fans with his American Recordings.

Cool

I didnt watch, but i doubt it has anything to do with disrespect.
Larry King Live is a show popular with much older people. It caters more to their interests. John Ritter was very popular with viewers much younger than Larry King usually draws.

I read the intervew Larry King did with Joyce... and it seemed He had quite a bit of respect for John Ritter. Sure, he didn't dedicate a huge amount of time to John... but he did do a good job IMO of representing him. I don't watch his show anyway, but I think it's going overboard a little to say that "Larry King DISRESPECTS John Ritter"... because he didn't.

Howard Stern did. Larry King got that first interview with Joyce (whom rarely does interviews from what I've seen)... and then went beyond that to talk to other people (probably in conjuction with the filming of ABC's tribute).

Let's be fair. Not every program need dedicate itself entirely for an hour to John Ritter. Many should do tributes. Larry did one... well two now. I think that's pretty nice of Larry King.

Sorry, but for a legend like John Ritter who has made millions laugh all across America and across different generations, it is not enough to just have less than half a show!!

You ARE showing disrespect when you don't honor the immense talent and heart of Ritter FOR JUST A 1 HOUR SHOW SO WE FANS CAN CALL IN AND GIVE OUR CONDOLENCES AND COMMENTS/QUESTIONS!!

It would have been ideal since Larry King would've come on right after the ABC tribute so it would be an ideal situation considering the viewers would already have John Ritter on their mind and then they could go to CNN and hear the other cast members talk and then call in and ask questions!! The continuity WOULD'VE BEEN PERFECT!!

BUT INSTEAD HE PUTS ON TAMMY FAYE BAKER???? WHAT A F*CKIN JOKE!!! GIMME A BREAK!!!

So, definitely please call 404-827-1500 and ask for Ritter to get a full hour just like Cash and Tammy Faye got!!!

First of all, Tammy Faye should never be on TV anywhere at anytime and it's an insult to my intelligence that someone like Larry King even bothers to have her on.

Second, you never know what Larry or his producers have planned. I would not be surprised if within a month or so you see Amy plus another family member or friend doing a full hour on John.

It's very possible Amy's first interview since John's death could be on Larry King.

I didn't think it was disrespectful. In my opinion I loved it. I think Larry King did a great job..
