Default The Ellen Degeneres Show Premiere

Okay I caught it tonight on Oxygen.

Let me say that first of all, Jennifer Aniston is my favorite actress - I LOVE LOVE LOVE her and yay! I saw her on Ellen - who is another of my favorite actress's and now talk show host.

Ellen's show is very well done so far - I'm anxious to find out how it's doing in the ratings and hope to hear that it will continue on.

Anyone else enjoying it?

On my left, I saw days upon days of lipstick and ticking clocks, dirty looks and quiet whisperings. And burning secrets that just won't ever die away. And on my right, what could I picture? The blue sky, the desert earth, stretching out into the eerie infinity. A beautiful never-ending nothing.

Today's episode of The Ellen Degeneres Show was dedicated to the memory of John Ritter. I thought that was very nice.

I haven't seen Ellen's new show yet, I saw Jennifer Aniston on the last ep of ellen's sitcom. Anyhoo- is the show at all funny? does ellen do any standup/sketches or go out on the streets yet? Maybe for the day John Ritter was meant to be on they'll talk to people who knew him or the cast of 8 simple rules and stuff. Had ellen ever worked with john does anyone know?

Ok yea indeed it is very sad that John wont be able to appear on her show. He was truly a great actor. I remember growing up watching him on TV.

But anyways- Just out of curiosity why do you all like Ellen so much? Be honest. Is it cause shes funny, because she inspires, because shes gay? What?

I'm not exactly sure, even when I was too young to understand all the humour in her shows I watched Ellen. Her rambling is hilarious, the way she delivers he lines on her sitcoms, standup ,anything at all. Reading her book you can imagine her saying the lines (I know some of those lines she really did say, they're from her 'Taste This' Album). and her insights on life are hilarious. Once her book is out I'll be there right away to get it- I wonder if it'll do as well as her first book? I'm suprised she isn't swamped with offers to do voice-work after Finding Nemo or to get back into movies, but if the ellen degeneres show is phenomonly successful, she'll probably get another sitcom or something, her first book was released at the height of her fame, so it's unlikely it'll do as well (then again, not many books ever do as well as her first book, my point and I do have one). It's not in print anymore-I had to get it from the library, hopefully they'll sell it at a booksale soon, it's great.
Also, ellen seems to genuinely like the public, which makes her a great person and entertainer.

Ellen makes me laugh like no other actor or actress can. She has an amazing talent, she is a fighter, she wont let it go to waste. Her first show was canceled by idiots for hating her for being gay, but she still performed, she never gave up. She started another show, which was okay, but she says she didn't put her soul into it like the first one. I don't think any comedy show she does can beat her first one, that was hilarious! Her talk show, she still makes me laugh, she isn't dull like others. I watched the Sharon Osbourne show when it premiered and it put me to sleep! Ellen has never done that to me before. I love her, she is fantastic. I wish Ellen the best of luck in the future.

I wish they'd bring back, 'Ellen' and start filming a new series, when Ellen was cancelled there was talks of another network picking it up. It did go downhill for a while (the supporting cast disappeared for sumthing like 7 episodes) but then it all picked right back up again (the ellen hollywood story thing was hilarious) and the show never REALLY ended (the episode 'Vows' is officially the last ep) so it'd be easy to revive it. If they don't revive it the least they could do is give David Higgins his own spinoff of Ellen- he was the second best after ellen in the show!

Ellen is awesome......I'm not really into talk shows, but this one is the best one I've ever seen! I'm watching it on Oxygen right now.

All three of the above for me.

Jennifer Aniston was fantastic on Ellen's show...so natural and very funny. What a great looking lady!
