TV Land pilot episode, different theme?? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I taped the John tribute today,and I noticed something about the three's a crowd theme.

I have copies of 20 other 3's a crowd episodes.,I was actually missing the first one.

I got some from the guy who taped them himself,and a couple other people,but noticed the theme on tvland was different then other versions I have,it looked to be longer,anyone else notice??

Just as a shorter theme was sometimes used on "Three's Company" in both its ABC run and in syndication, there was also a short theme for "Three's a Crowd". The theme you heard this morning was the original, full-length version.

I knew it was something different about the opening credits. I noticed that more was seen in the opening credits.

i have the uncut long version from the show but that's it plus a few episodes on tape

Did TV Land air Three's a Crowd episodes? I've been looking for them to record them! I have only seen the episodes years ago, but I don't have any on tape! I am looking forward to seeing them again, as I am a HUGE fan of Three's Company!

Right now, I am downloading the .mpg of the opening theme. Months ago, I found an audio of it, so now I get to see the actual opening. I can't wait because I haven't seen this spinoff in 10+ years!!

Also, what John Tribute was aired? Will it re-air? I would love to catch it to record.

TV Land only aired the pilot episode a few weeks ago as part of their John Ritter tribute marathon. I doubt if any more will air but we can always hope.
