Default Question about John and Amy?

I hope this isn't the wrong time, or an inappropriate question to ask, but I have been seeing some confusing things these past few days since John's Death.

How long were John and Amy actually together? I am seeing 4 years. Thats strange to me because I thought they were married way before that. They did the Cosby Show together back in the 80's and did both Problem Child movies together. They also had a cameo on Wings. Along with I don't know how may other things they were in together.

Then I see that John was married to to someone else until 1996. And he and Amy were not together until like 1998 or 1999. Anyone got any backgound on this? Were they long time friends that decided to give it a shot or what? Please don't think Im being rude by asking this, because that is not my intention. Its just been bothering me so I thought I would ask it here.

Thanks.

John and Amy were married 18 September 1999. I just know they met on the set of Problem Child, at least thats what I heard. He was married to Nancy Morgan before that.

Actually, I heard they met when they acted together on a Cosby episode 10 years prior. I guess it wasn't until Problem Child when things started heating up between them.

their was a bioagraphy on him the other night. I'm a little confused too. Were John and his first wife having problems and were planning on divorcing and that's when he and amy fell inlove or did john and amy have an affair? I'm a little confused.. I will miss you john.. You were a great man.. hugs and kisses to you.

Problem Child was in 1990 and the Cosby Show was in 1991. They met on the set of Problem Child.

Default Amy Yasbeck

I know this is off topic for Three's Comany, but I have a question.

I always knew Amy Yasbeck was in Problem Child 2, playing Annie.
I learned tonight while watching the ABC special that she was also in Problem Child 1, playing a totally different character. Does ANYONE know what happened or why this is? I am confused.

Thanks

Amy Yasbeck played John Ritter's first wife that ran off in the beginning of the movie. I think it was a very small role. As for why she played different roles in both movies, I have no idea!

No one has answered the question of whether John and Amy had an affair which led to their marriage, or whether John and Nancy were on the outs anyway.

Anyone know?

I think he and Nancy were already having problems, but I'm not exactly sure.

I just read a few different articles about John and Amy, and they all said the same thing. That John and Nancy were already seperated when he started seeing Amy. They also said it was very painful for everyone involved because they weren't legally divorced yet.

Ya, I'd like to hear about that. Not for nothing, but she did seem kind of snooty, and that's just from the looks on her face in the pictures she took with John. Amy on the other hand, always looked so full of life and happy as can be, just like her husband. They were definitly meant to be. They seemed so in love.
