Arrow Please for me: Whats your Age & what year did you start watching? (plus memories)

I am just curious of everyone's age..

and.. Can you tell us what Year did you start watching Three's Company!.. and if you want any thoughts or memories that you might have when you first started the Show... Thank You

If any Episode brings back a memory, please share it

** I am 32 years Old...

** I was lucky enough to watch the show since the very first episode in 1977!

When I watch certain episodes I remember the exact thoughts in my head when I saw these shows live on TV.. (by now I have seen everyone in reruns a million times.. but I still remember some of my thought of what I was seeing )

sometimes I even remember .. wow I was in 4th grade.. or we talked about that episode at lunch in school back then..

ONE MOMENT I remember exactly what i thought.. When Jack was getting a loan from Dean Tarvers .. and Travers kept asking him "You live with 2 Girls!!"..

~ When Dean Travers said.. "Jack, this is the 70's"...

That moment.. I was thinking ((( wow.. what is 1980 going to be like.. then I was figuring out my age at certain years.. then of course I got to the year 2000.. and was thinking wow I am going to be around 30 years old.. the SAME age as Jack is now in late 70's))) what am I going to be like.. ect

Just that one line.. I have so many memories..

also I remember is some episodes when I my Grandma used to watch me when my Parents went out to dinner.. WE both would watch 3's company.. and just laugh!

She is dead now too .. and I miss those days with her ( I can even remember she made me Celery Salads with Italian Dressing.. while I was watching Three's Company)

I miss all those moments.. now

I'll be 29 in less than a month, and I remember watching the show when I was just a little kid.. maybe 5 or so.

It's been mentioned before (the episode "All That Jazz," where Janet wants to become a dancer), but that's one I remember very well. Also, when Jack went out and got drunk with some of his Navy buddies and wound up with a tattoo on his rear end. It's when he's in the hospital bed and Janet's trying to get him dressed. That was absolutely hilarious to me! I laughed sooo damn hard, I thought never I'd get my breath back. He's all doped up, trying to get his shirt on but it gets stuck on his head.

omg I love episode. I love it when he grabs the covers and pulls then up with his legs sticking out (ok i cant explain it well, but you probably know what im talking about). That has to be one of the best scenes. And he puts his shoes on his hands.

Yes!! Oh man, I'm laughing right now remembering that part. Yeah, he puts 'em on his hands and pretends to be a seal. Meanwhile, Janet's trying her best to keep her cool.. It feels so good to laugh and remember these memories right now.

thank you

There is NEVER going to be a show like this EVER again!!

Just a Example" All That Jazz"

How do you have in one episode the funniest stuff by Jack.. trying to dance.. geting hit in the face, almost kicked in the balls.. leg stuck on the wood raling against the wall..

( The Crowd is going nuts!!! )

and then... Have Michael says to Janet " Let me level with you.. You don't have what it takes to become a Dancer!"

( The Crowd moan with hurt )

Then.. John to me shows the REASON why everyone LOVES Jack Tripper!!

" Can I have this Dance"

(wow the whole crowd just gets a chill through their bodies and all moan at once)

** That Episode and MOMENT to this day is the most emotional moment I have ever seen in any Movie,Tv or Book.. any form of entertainment..

I felt it exactly when it aired the first time.. and NOW seeing that episode 500 times.. everytime I feel that same.. feeling

I Love Jack Tripper.. and this is the reason everyone fell in love ith John Ritter!

man .. that is a amazing episode!

When Jack looked at Janet and said, "What I wanted to say is.. may I have this dance?" and they start dancing together, I wanted to be in her shoes.

I liked it when he tried to dance, or when he'd accidentally trip and fall over something. His timing was perfect. Oh, and when they're out camping and they keep making him swing around in the hammock.. hilarious!

Hey, Austin Tripper!! I am 3?, and I, too, watched the 1st episode in 1977!! I have to admit I didn't watch alot of the later episodes, especially after Chrissy & the Ropers left, but I do catch other episodes from time to time now. I also didn't watch alot of 8 Simple Rules, either. My job takes me out of town alot, so these days, I don't have an awful lot of time to watch a whole lot of shows, even taping them. About 8 Simple Rules, I just happen to catch the "Come and Knock on Our Door" episode shown in rerun a few weeks back, and I laughed through the whole thing, especially when at the end, John's character found himself in bed with Don Knotts! Classic!! But as far as Three's Company, I especially remember the episode where Jack & Chrissy were handcuffed to each other, where Mr. Roper ate the dog food thinking it was something that Jack made, and the 'serious' episode where Chrissy bumped her head and was in the hospital.

But above all that, I know you want 3's Company memories, but I know I will always remember John as a diverse actor, playing all types of roles, and the fact that he was ALWAYS working, even when he didn't have his own show. He also seemed like such a decent man, in an industry marred by scandal, celebrites going in & out of rehab, couples cheating on each other, I guess you didn't hear much about him in the news because of just that. HE WAS DECENT!!! This is the reason he was always working, because he was one of those individuals that it was a joy to work with, he wasn't one of those 'difficult' actors. I posted on another board about favorite John Ritter roles, and I mentioned of course, Sling Blade, and a movie I saw a long time ago called Skin Deep. Another movie I neglected to mention was one he did in 1990, I believe, called Dreamer of Oz, in which he played L.Frank Baum, the author of The Wizard of Oz. With WOO being one of my favorite movies, I loved this movie because it showed what gave Baum his ideas for writing this story.

Anyhoo, I've said alot and now feel like I'm rambling. My heart and prayers go out to Amy, little Stella, and all his family and friends.

John, you are reunited again with Norman & Audra.

John, imo, is the best physical actor ever.

yeah I have to say I saw 3's Company from the very first airing .. I watched all the roper's.. BUT to be honest missed some of 3's a crowd..

BUT my brother who is on this Board too he is 29 years old.. he watched everything too from start to finish! even all the 3's a crowd.

This show for both of us.. was a life changing thing

** another story.. First episode.. when Mr. Roper was poking that women's breast!! I was in SHOCK!

I was 6 years old.. and thought he was going to go to jail for doing that I thought he had to marry her now.. and if not he had to sign a contract or some paper to be allowed to touch a women's breast

I knew from that moment on.. this show was going to blow my mind
