That Cliff Clavin was perhaps the most underappreciated character on Cheers. IMO Cliff made so many people around him funnier. Especially Norm and Carla.

You're right. A great part of Carla was how she made fun of Cliff. And Norm and Cliff together made great comedy.

Cliff- I'm ashamed god made me a man.
Carla- I don't think god's doing much bragging about it either.

Maybe Norm, because I love their whole relatioship. lol I don't know if anybody here watches "the king of Queens" but Cliff is like Norm's "Work wife" lol

Carla...I don't think so....yes he did make her funnier but he wasn't the only one around. She had Diane, Rebecca, Frasier, Lilith, and even Sam to pick on.
